I'm honestly super happy someone requested this. I've been addicted to them for about a year now and they are absolutely incredible. If you're interested in any other songs from them check out Awakening, Faster Than Light, Abyss, Call Me Immortal, and The Matriarch as they are some of my all time favorites from them. They're a super underrated band and I think they deserve more recognition
So the album this is from is a concept album telling the story of an immortal being bound to the service of the one who awakens him. This song is the 4th track, and outlines the task he's been given by the Matriarch who awakened him - to bring her sons to her, that she may sacrifice them in a ritual to gain immortality of her own. The previous songs set up his awakening and journey to find the one who summoned him, and the songs after tell of his quest to complete the task. The story is then continued in their next album, Abyss. Both albums are absolute fire, I don't think you could find a bad song off either of them; but for something outside of this storyline album set, Test your Metal and Tonight we Ride are among the most commonly requested songs.
There are some great video's on Napalm Records YT channel with Brittney explaining the meaning of the songs on each album. Eh Let's goooooo!! Glad you liked them! Brittney Slays has amazing range and matches so well with their instrumentals. Can't help but headband to every one of their songs!! 🤘🤘🤘
UTA is a ridiculously addictive band! You literally can't go wrong with any song you pick by them. They are ALL BANGERS!! Two of my favorites are: The Matriarch & Soulbound. Pure 🔥
Taking a moment from Saturday Afternoon paperwork at the clinic... plus doing laundry. I Need some UTA and a reaction. Right near the end, when Scot is going fullspeed doublekickgonzomode ... the clothes washer drops into highspeed/highspin (and a touch off balance) and EXACTLY matches the bpm that Scot is kicking out. It's like having full 5.1 stereo with a 18 inch sub in the room. UTA Matching the beauty and power of nature. With Metal. lol
Let's goooo! Unleash the Archers are one of my favorites. Brittney is goated. There are so many great songs by UTA to recommend, I don't even know where to start.
Their albums are amazing! Their song Abyss reminds me of a sci-fi dystopia book I read in high school, great stuff. Test Your Metal is another great song if you want to hear her full upper range!
TYM is shamefully underrepresented among the reactor crowd. while not as showy as something like the Awakening studio video, it's just such a hard hitting fun song.
Have to disagree! The best song on an album is The Wind That Shapes The Land. You can't get any more epic or hyped for a fight in a climactic song than that.
Imo, Awakening is their best song. Brittney Slayes is a great vocalist too, she's also very nice & does interviews & is a geek/gamer. They are Canadian. Inspired by Iron Maiden.
Here's a few suggestions for metal bands lead by women: Nightwish, After Forever and Revamp - all lead by Floor Jansen - symphonic metal, highly versatile, classically trained, ReVamp was her band and the heaviest Arch Enemy, The Agonist - Alissa White-Gluz - melodic death metal - known for her growl/screams but with a beautiful soprano clean voice Tatania Schmailyuk - Jinjer - metalcore, prog metal - known for her growl/screams also with a mellow clean voice Epica - Simone Simons - symphonic metal with heavier elements, classically trained mezzo Within Temptation - Sharon den Adel - lighter, more melodic The Gathering - Anneke van Giersbergen - lighter, more melodic Delain - Charlotte Wessels - lighter, more melodic Spiritbox - Courtney LaPlante - metalcore, prog - she moves between cleans and growls Doro Pesch - Warlock - heavy metal, one of the original women in metal Lizzy Hale - Halestorm - hard rock to heavy metal Angela Gossow - Arch Enemy - melodic death metal, replaced by Alissa and Angela is now the band manager
Great band, and Brittney is an insane vocalist, and even better live. Definitely different, but all have female vocalists: Dying Wish, Mortality Rate, and Kittie (all female band, except on one record they had a male guitarist).
Do you love metal bands with front female singer? Ok. Then, these are some of my recommendations: - Ad Infinitum. - Blackbriar - Lovebites - Nemophila - Hanabie - Band.maid -Unlucky Morpheus - Nightwish - Epica - Within Temptation - Lacuna Coil - Amberian Dawn - The Gentle Storm - Ayreon (some songs)
I’d say my top three bands of the last five years are UTA, Greta van Fleet and BabyMetal. If you want to stay with UTA, check out Abyss or Northwest Passage
Not a follower of their stuff but this song is badass. Please, for some other excellent female fronted band I highly recommend to check Epica, they're just fantastic
Great reaction to an awesome band. Dive head first into this rabbit 🐇 🕳 hole it's well worth it. Check out Tonight We Ride and Test Your Metal from Time stands still album as well as the title song then listen to Apex And Abyss straight through. Follow Britneys collaborations with other band, she really has a powerful unique voice. Rock on 🤘 I just subscribed because this song brought me to your Chanel 😊 more plz 🙏 😍
you love bands with badass female vocalists and haven't done "Halestorm - Love Bites (So Do I), captured in The Live Room"? I hope this just means that you already know it, otherwise oh boy should that go on your list.
If you love Brittany Slayes, then you will love Floor Jansen of Nightwish. The Poet and the Pendulum is a good start. I would recommend the Live Wembley 2016 video
Throwing her in the deep end is not the best way to go with Nightwish. Poet is one of their best songs but complex and personal, and she will miss so much unless she understands the backstory and the history of the band. Ghost Love Score, Everdream, Nemo aer much better songs to introduce someone to the band.
I would love to see a scream-off contest between Brittney Slayes of Unleash The Archers and Melody Cristea of Liliac. I think Melody Cristea would win it though.

I was going to cover this exact detail
Brittney Slays is a mezzo-soprano and has a 4 octave range, such an incredible voice.

amazing band! they have plenty of amazing songs!

Unleash The Archers - Awakening is by far their best song imo. Glad to see you came across the band and Brittany Slays epic voice
Have to disagree! The best song on an album is The Wind That Shapes The Land.
You can't get any more epic or hyped for a fight in a climactic song than that.
@@isaiahwelch8066 I 💯 agree, The Wind That Shapes The Land is their magnum opus.
i Love Unleash the archers !!!(Awakening) is not even close to there best song!!!
Unleash the Archers - Tonight We Ride. her vocals go even higher
Soulbound
Fantastic band, should definitely check out more! Great reaction and thank you for the video :)

Melody Cristea- Liliac.
Awakening is another great song by unleash the archers brittneys vocals are insane
you need to listen to handshake with hell by arch enemy, you have no ideia what you are missing out on, i think you will love it
Great band, and Brittney is an insane vocalist, and even better live.
Definitely different, but all have female vocalists: Dying Wish, Mortality Rate, and Kittie (all female band, except on one record they had a male guitarist).
Something new for you to listen to a song of my two favorite bands:
While she sleeps -Four walls/Nervous
Bury Tomorrow -Black flame/Last Light
One of my favorite bands. Their last two albums don't have a bad track on them in my mind
"she don't need no man" That's her son that she created purely to become immortal
Hell yeahhhh. More of them for sure.
If you liked this one, you def gotta check out Tonight We Ride. Out really shows Brittany's range. Plus the music video itself is kind of a banger
❤ This band. 🇨🇦 Rules!
for more awesome bands with great female vocalists you can try Amaranthe, Beyond the Black, and Ad Infinitum.
Do you love metal bands with front female singer?
Ok.
Then, these are some of my recommendations:
- Ad Infinitum.
- Blackbriar
- Lovebites
- Nemophila
- Hanabie
- Band.maid
-Unlucky Morpheus
- Nightwish
- Epica
- Within Temptation
- Lacuna Coil

- Ayreon (some songs)
You should try awakening..
It is a power metal masterpiece
I’d say my top three bands of the last five years are UTA, Greta van Fleet and BabyMetal. If you want to stay with UTA, check out Abyss or Northwest Passage
Great reaction..... Since you like female vocalist I would love to see an infected rain reaction ( I'd start with sweet, sweet lies....or black gold)
This is an amazing song, yet not usually the first song folks hear from them, I would highly suggest checking out some of their other awesomeness.
just so you know, this band encourages reactions, so they do not go after people who show their music videos, so it doesnt have to be flipped
the man she killed in the video was one of her own sons
lol. entirely for a ritual for immortality .
Welcome to the UTA fam. :)
A Preservation of Immortality by Wretched.
You should check out Awakening by unleash the archers that was my introduction to this band
Consider doing Halestorm. Break in with Amy Lee
If you love female voices in Metal I strongly suggest you listen to songs from magical symphonic metalbands as Nightwish or Epica!!
ACTUALLY! Thats a falcon.....I think!
Not a follower of their stuff but this song is badass.
Please, for some other excellent female fronted band I highly recommend to check Epica, they're just fantastic
amazinggggggg!!!!!!
If you get the chance, you should check out part 2 of Pain Remains by Lorna Shore. It’s a bit of a tear jerker to say the least
Great reaction to an awesome band. Dive head first into this rabbit 🐇 🕳 hole it's well worth it. @@rnowak85 thats your opinion. Poet was my first song with nightwish and i did fine with there history by doing research
Kinda hard to believe she hasn't discovered them yet. I would say for her Romanticide would be a better starting point though IMO.
Watch: Being As An Ocean - Dear God
please react to nemophila if you want some badass female vocalist
Please react to unleash the archers “tonight we ride” 🙏🏻🥹
Pls react WILL RAMOS - TO THE HELLFIRE ONE TAKE VOCAL
Please react to Palaye Royale - Fever dream 🙏
I would love to see a scream-off contest between Brittney Slayes of Unleash The Archers and Melody Cristea of Liliac.
I think Melody Cristea would win it though.
You don't get it, and that's okay. I'm glad you enjoyed it in your own way.
