your owner's locker inventory list made me think about suggesting Bottle Bright to you. You travel enough where it's probably worth it to have. It's water bottle/hydration pack cleaning tablets. I love it when we travel bc I don't have to worry about packing a bottle brush and keeping my bottles clean when I'm drinking more than just water.

Your “staging area” for pre packing is an excellent idea. I’ll have to try that. I too start my packing a couple of days before leaving.
It’s really nice to have an easily accessible place that’s still kind of tucked away for this - makes the prep and actual final packing such a breeze
