I had such a problem with the e-brakes that it ruined the fun. I had either next to nothing or a hard bite that made going downhill a real pain in the ass. Couldn't find anyone anywhere who knew anything about these, but at least now I know the only way to adjust ebrake is through display that allows you to adjust certain perimeters in the controller. I had no manual and my screen was smashed but the thing would still come on and let me access the 3 speeds, and I could still see battery level. Pretty good machine at $75 used. Was thinking about getting a new one but wondered how to extend range (thank you!) and since I'm here, thought I would ask if you have any problems with the brakes? And I really am grateful for the videos you have posted. I couldn't even pay anyone to answer my questions! God bless youtube content creators!
Unfortunately the E Brakes can't be adjusted..been wanting to do an update on this scooter to answer some questions and tell a bit more like how to brake down steep hills by using the heel of your shoes to slow it down. .. my scooter still runs good with the upgrade battery my brother has it now... the brake takes some getting used too. If you want more range consider Buying a Xiaomi or a highboy with solid tires And a seat instead. I have one and it's my everyday ready to go. with no Flats to worry about.. ride anywhere and over glass and nails.. look for deals on offer up.. I got lucky and bought a Xiaomi for $150 good condition... I have plans to compare all my scooter side by side one day..
To match the voltage you first unplug the original battery then connect the extra battery and check the voltage on the display if shows 40.5v. Then uplug it and plug the original and if it shows 38.5v then charge it up till you get 40.5v. If it shows 41.5v the drian the battery to match the 40.5v.. let the battery settle for 5 minutes to get an accurate reading.. once they both match then you can plug them together. . @@musicglau for $150 you get a 350 watt motor that goes 20mph on flat with around 5 mile range with 180 pound rider. Solid tires no suspension not good for ruff surface. Electric brake that's sudden .. not for going down steep hill.. check offer up.. or let go.. you might find a better one for a little bit more. This scooter is unique for the price. A budget scooter .. once you add extra battery. It will beat scooter priced at $250 to $300

I just ordered this scooter and want to do the same set up as yours with the extended battery. Your link to batter doesn't work or battery not available. What is the search title for that battery on ebay? I am new to this scooter hobby, so did u have to do any special configuration to get the second battery to work with stock battery? I am hoping it is just plug and play.
Bad news 😢. Just checked and I'm suprised the Price went up ..it doubled. I see this battery type being used for DIY solar panel batteries for homes..probably drove up the price .. my last purchase was 2 months ago.. for $33.99. It's now $65 .. I posted the new link.. its the cheapest so far.. that's US seller. I'm changing the title $65.. I will look around for other deals and update again when I can .. maybe to a bigger battery. A Total replacement. Better deal comes with it on charger for easy plug and play without having to combine the other battery.

@nickwheeler1652 yes ! Definitely make sure it has a xt60 connector. And buy a xt60 wire extension Just be mindful . Longer ride can over heat motor. Just feel the motor here and there. If you can't keep your fingers on it for a couple of seconds. Give it a rest . Or else It will cut off and won't start back up until it cools off . You can buy a wire extension and place the battery in a secure place

Put an exra batt make a long xt60 run it where wires go into the bag on the front handlebars
