I'm still convinced that Dr. Boom's Scheme was supposed to involve summoning Boombots or putting bombs in your opponent's deck (I mean, look at the artwork) but then Bomb Warrior became the bane of everyone's existence so they were like "Uh, quick! Change it to something else warriors do! Like... armor!"
Suprised the DH card that replaces ur weapon with a new one when its destroyed didnt make it. Proving grounds n stuff atleast actually got used a little meanwhile Ive never seen the weapon replacer get played once.
People really clown on dinomancy but i gotta say: it was a decent card at its time. Granted, it was never in a top tier deck but it had its place in a tempo oriented beast hunter. Giving your beasts +2/+2 permanantly allowed you to make them way more sticky and bulkier and it, most importantly, allowed you to make any beast a sizable threat over time. I like it and i dont think its the worst hunter card. The secret that gives a random minion in hand +2/+2 is way worst. Also piranha launcher should have probably made into the list, 5 mana for a 2/4 weapon that summons a textless 1/1 when you attack is pretty abysmal
Bronze Herald was actually pretty decent in the common only twist format, it wasn't a key card in the deck or anything but it was nice filler with some added value.
I hope that Frostmourne gets revisited for buffs. Maybe immune while attacking? At least that makes it good as a spot remover before you get the value bomb.
I understand having the crappy spells and minions in the game for low-rolls of random spell/minion effects, but there are only a couple of random weapon effects and I have never seen most of them played. Pirate Warrior questlline is the lone exception. I cannot think of a reason why Poison Blade is in the game.
@@caturaebenton2886 Yes, but there's always some cards that will give you a random weapon in hand, or you may discover one. If it don't exist already, maybe some shenanigans involving a neutral card, or a multi-class card will allow a Warlock to get a Cursed Blade.
@@lekanraposte6732demon seed warlock wasn't even a tier 2 deck, it was tier 3 even before nerf to 12 damage per stage. Making your deck based on discovering that weapon would make it even worse. Also there is a golem that can discover weapon from all classes I think it is 4 mana 3/3.

gotta remember some cards are designed with the discover mechanic and random summoning or evolve/devolve in mind. the difference between an earth elemental and a blood herald is starking.
I'm just gonna say it: Commander Ulthok's card text reads to me as, "Battlecry: Sometimes, you win the game." Not top 20 or even top 50 Warlock cards of all time because they've had such obnoxiously powerful cards, but not worst 5 either. I think a card that should've been in bottom 5 in Ulthok's place was right on the screen: Sacrificial Pact. Other than that one time Disguised Toast made that meme in that one tournament, it's been complete unplayable trash.
When I was a noob who just started playing during Rastakhans Rumble, I thought Ironhide Direhorn was a fucking sick card. I was definitely drunk on the value dream, but it seemed like such a good card in theory. That's a card that I wish they would buff to be a 5 mana 5/5 rush overkill: summong a 5/5 Ironhide Runt.
They need to do a pass over every card and decide if the stats and effect are balanced. A card like repulsive gargantuan I’d love to see be a 4 mana 5/5 to see if it’s playable with its niche/bad effect
Can't believe that Cursed blade the 1 mana 2/3 weapon didn't make the list. I mean I'm pretty sure I remember losing quite a few games because that happened to appear on my pirate warrior. There are some other real stinkers as well but off the top of my head, can't really think of them. Other than that, fairly solid list!
Not sure how you struggled with Rogue, they've had plenty of bad cards; Thistle Tea. 6 mana draw ONE card. Then get 2 copies of it (Meanwhile we have the 2 mana Mimic Pod that does the same thing but only 1 copy which was also trash) Tak Nozwhisker. 7 mana 6/6 with "Whenever you shuffle a card into your deck, add a copy of it into your deck". Not only is this an expensive minion, you then need to actually shuffle something into your deck, something that also needs to be worth copying into your hand. Cannon Barrage. 6 mana deal 3 damage to a random enemy. Repeat for each of your pirates. Horrendously bad card even for Pirate decks. Grand Empress Shek'zara. 6 mana 5/7 with Battlecry: Discover a card in your deck and draw all copies of it. Another expensive card that relies on shuffling copies of something noteworthy into your deck and then you still have RNG to discover that card... Biteweed. 2 mana 1/2 with Combo: Gain +1/+1 for each card you played that turn. Literally, VanCleef but bad.

Literally, I've never seen a competitive list ever include Thistle Tea or Empress. Not when Sprint existed. Even looking back for decks, I can only find 1 singular deck that included each card and they're both just some Gold pleb's homebrew. Normally Rogue just relied on Sprint and some cheap cantrips like Fan or some cheap minions they could step like Coldlight Oracles if they weren't using Auctioneer to miracle.

Cursed Blade is arguebily the worst weapon ever printed for warrior, 1 mana 2/3 your hero takes double damage, i dont need to explain anymore but okay, at least tentacles for arms didnt make your chances of losing the game even higher, yeah it was bad, but if you used it to kill a 3/2, you took 3 not 6, if you use it to kill an 8/2, you took 8 not 16, if you get fireballed while having it equiped, you took 6 not 12

I actually used Ulthok a bit in DiscoLock when there was a lot of Reno going around in Wild. Quickly get the opponent down to 5 HP and play Ulthok to prevent Reno. Thankfully Reno isn't really around anymore... but sadly neither is DiscoLock. (It's easily my favourite aggro deck of all time, excluding the Tome Tampering/Cataclysm version that was too broken. Wish it was still a decent deck.)

Temporus can't be the worst Priest card. Shadow Word: Forbid is an unplayable joke card that, if printed in real life, would only be found in trash bins and landfills. Temporus could at least be a card that someone could play at some time for some reason. Sure, you might joke about how bad it can be...but at least its playable.
Blizzard has a bad habit of printing bad Priest cards for absolutely no reason, I still laugh every time I see Surrender to Madness, who design that card?
Nah, Deadly Fork is faaaar worse. You can at least build some decks around Poisoned Blade with things like Even Rogue or Shadowcrafter Scabbs+Beardo OTK. Fork feels wasteful to spend mana on both the minion and weapon.

Webweave in druid used to be very decent back in KOTFT. Druids used to run it often, because it wasn't that easy to remove the spiders and they essentially locked the board progression for a turn, plus 5 mana for druid isn't a lot. Bronze herald in paladin was also OK during its dragon phase. Deadly fork and contract were also played in their respective expansions. At least the fork was for certain. Commander for warlock was a meta card in curselock, no idea why you'd even pick him for this list.

Cursed Blade did see some play in wild in some Pirate Warrior builds as a way to beat Big Priest. Dr. Boom’s scheme is unplayable trash even in all in control warriors.
warrior also had cursed blade, double damage against your hero. there is no way to give it to your enemy on purpose. the scheme though is far worse. it has this massive bomb art, gains armor. laziest card, for sure.
I do have the dumbest move ever by the HS team. They nerfed a very old card the Captain's Pirate became a 2 cost 1/1 epic lmao that drew a pirate yep this sounds way too powerful more so than the several patches cards they keep reprinting lol. at that time there was this still to this day insane card Edwin van Cleef that has it's newer counterpart edwin card used at top legend wild that did not get nerfed for many years but oh yeah hey guys we better get on that 1/1 2 drop we can't have any epics drawing pirates lmao.
The "Meta" is hot garbage now and for me game is dead now, Plat 10 lost 10+ games in a row with multiple sets....always was countered perfectly (elemage, wheelwarlock, FFU DK, etc.) hearthstone is a big scam for "almost" Free-to-play gamer. We are the little fish so whales who spend over and over big money on the game feel good about themselves.
what are you yapping about, the best decks are almost always cheap aggro decks with 1 or 2 legendaries. Calling hearthstone "pay to win" is pretty ridiculous nowadays, you would only need to pay if you cared about having a full collection (which you absolutely do not need for legend) if you are losing 10+ games in a row while playing meta decks you can't really blame the game
There was a meme deck fairly recently where you kept buffing Amalgams for a massive ABJ OTK. It played Dinomancy. That was before we could just Grunt them.

It was insane in pirate warrior. Why would you want to trade minions if you can go face? It is 1 mana 6 damage. Fireball that cost 4x less.

what are you yapping about, the best decks are almost always cheap aggro decks with 1 or 2 legendaries. Calling hearthstone "pay to win" is pretty ridiculous nowadays, you would only need to pay if you cared about having a full collection (which you absolutely do not need for legend) if you are losing 10+ games in a row while playing meta decks you can't really blame the game
Rarran got in Legend with 0 dust deck. If you can't get even with full meta deck, I think the problem is you.
look i dont argue that dinomancy is good or anything, but it does have an otk xD that stupid poisonous spider or higgen cashe arent part of anything
There was a meme deck fairly recently where you kept buffing Amalgams for a massive ABJ OTK. It played Dinomancy. That was before we could just Grunt them.
