Drill Inferno is probably my favorite attack in all of the PS2 OG games. Wodan just cuts loose, and becomes the mad woodpecker he always wanted to be when he was little~
Well, that and it was kindof the ONLY thing Sanger could do when he was at a standstill with Mazinkaiser...a Turbo Smasher Punch kinda bored the chest while the Drill head thing just BARELY missed the Kaiser Pilder...

It was a scene from the Alpha Gaiden Manga where the attacks Drill inferno and Zankantou of the Stars came from.

I thought he died at the Earth Cradle in OGs? I figure the only way he could return is if someone rebuilds him, but that's kind of difficult with Lemon gone.

登場前にこいつ出てきたのと数話で破壊されたせいで参式の影が薄い。
けど、OG2の時点での性能的には竜巻斬艦刀無かったら糞燃費のダイゼンガーよりオメガとドリルとアマブレ使えるの参式の方が使いやすかった。

It is pronounced Sladegelmir in Japanese so maybe that's why.
Question: I’m seeing a lot of similarities between this game’s story and the 2007 OG game for the PS2. Almost identical, tbh. Is Gaiden a remake or remaster of the 2007 game?
OG Gaiden is actually a sequel to the PS2 OG game, however. The game also comes with a battle viewer mode. Which makes it a hell of a lot more easier to watch the attack animations.

Wodan is a W Series Android, W15 who's design was based off of Sanger from that universe.

Actually this is the OG universe. The Alphaverse Sanger is different.
Sanger was the pilot of Thrudgelmir in Alpha Gaiden, but here in the OGverse, the pilot is Wodan Ymir, who was an android/clone based on Sanger's design, as BassG said. Sanger died in the universe Wodan Ymir was created in (Shadow Mirror universe).

Yeah..I know that. But the reason they made Wodan Ymir was just because they wanted to have Alpha Gaiden Sanger to fight Alpha 2 Sanger...and they did just that.
Is the Thrudgelmir's sword of the stars the only boss attack with a dynamic kill in the OG universe ? I don't remember anyone else having a DK, not even the likes of Neo Granzon, Stern Regisseur or Perfectio!
Dark Brain's final attack has one. It doesn't always happen, he has to kill your unit and supposedly the attack needs to critical as well. But DK's are a super rarity in OG among villains. Hoping they will step it up in the future games.
DOW1100 Neo Granzon now has DKs. Thrudgelmir probably has one because TECHNICALLY it is a hero unit, going by the Alpha Gaiden true ending.
Also. Raha Extim's finisher has a DK too. And he does deserve it given how much of a bitch his boss battle is
Though this was several years ago, just to add, Keisar Ephes also has dynamic kill, a very disturbing one too. I believe Gaio from Z2 also has? Though I'm not sure about this one.
