Amethyst was the first crystal that I loved as a young child. I did not know until I became an adult that it is my birthstone. When I attend college I carried a small piece with me as a worry stone, before I knew that people did that. It seems like the Amethyst crystal chose me before I ever knew anything about crystals. The deep purple ones seem to draw me the most.
As a sensitive like I am I highly recommend this crystal to everyone I have nothing but really good things that has happened to me first it makes you sleep better then from then had dreams visions of me being a kid again and even gotten waken by something at 444-445 am Also feel more at peace as well
Purple is in my life. I'm a pisces born in February. 2 purples right there. I have epilepsy, and the color for that is purple as well. Beautiful stone , no matter the shade.

Amethyst really calls out to me but some of my friends have been saying that you should not buy gemstones. You should get prescription. They say that some gemstones are very strong and you can't work with that level of energy. I have wanted to buy amethyst for over a year and half now. Can the energy level of amethyst harm anyone ???

Amethyst is one of the first crystals I got too. the other ones are rose quartz and black tourmaline.
