the most important thing for me in music is the speed and intensity, for both maeta and classical. this song might be a bad example, (its still awesome tho) however i most likely enjoy speed and power metal, aswell as dvorak for example

But I've never gotten into it, I just wish there were more classical instruments used in collaboration with metal, I think the two can go together very, very well, the brutal riffs with the soft emotion the classic instruments bring into songs is outstanding but I guess I'm in a minority here.
Ovenfreshjoe I feel that Rammstein use classical instruments and classic style vocals really well, especially in Sonne :) But I completely agree with you, the collaboration and the almost discordant harmony between metal and classical is awesome!

for me, it made me realized that no matter what the song is originally played in, i would love it once played in classical
I think that metal and classical music is both an acquired taste and once you've acquired the taste for metal, it is not that hard to enjoy classical.
