Glass Central Station is honored to present this content from the 2019 Glass Craft & Bead Expo. Andrew Pollack is known for his nature inspired work in both hollow & solid forms and his studio in New Orleans is becoming a hot-spot for glass education. During his class "Introduction to Sculpting Borosilicate Glass" he shared the creation of an octopus. In addition to killer sculpture, techniques covered include the stick & snap method of working with eye murrine, making proper welds & seals and decorative methods utilizing rod & frit color.
