Thanks..I don't have the s12 but I do have the Dioko and Stellaris and ..planar drivers are generally capable of greater resolution due to their speed. The rest might be up to tuning.
Would you recommend this for movie soundtracks...? If you have any alternate recommendation within 100$ , plz do mention... I value a good tuning with solid technicalities that, i feel, are necessary for soundtracks....
Connect Olina to a balanced output (+balanced cable) and you'll see how wide the soundstage is. Olina is using the same driver that's used on the $300 Tanchjim Oxygen and blows everything below $200 out of the water including TWS and wired IEMs.
@@mamad504 I don't need to do research for something that has been disproven a long time ago. ASR and many others already disprove your theory on sound changes. Is up to you to prove something without using the bad argument of your own ears or I'm deft. All balance is used for is more power and to stop ground loop issues. Most professional monitor headphones are single ended fyi.
@@epicmike3915 you can have your opinion and I respect that. But I definitely hear the difference when using balanced output of my BTR3K vs single ended. Is it because of more power or just being balanced I don't know.. but I sure hear the difference in sound stage and separation improvement.
@@mamad504 Fair enough. Agree to disagree. If you hear the difference is fine. I'm my testing A/B comparison using a switch and volume matching I don't. So I concluded I hear no difference.
Great introductory review. I’ve got the OG Olina..yes, with the mod ..and it’s a very nicely tuned iem ..that shines on older rock and roll recordings. Great vid as always. Namaste 🙏
Olina SE seems like another good entry into the budget 1DD realm. Wonder how it holds up against the field, though. There's a lot of competition around the $100 price point.
which is your pick, olina se or s12, zetian wu, dunu kima, or any other suggestions around > 500usd or better value than moondrop variations, thanks! i only got dunu titan s and looking to try others/upgrade
Hey, if you like the videos, do consider subscribing. I do this every week :-)

Balanced output and cables have no effect on sound signature or Soundstage.
@@epicmike3915 please do some research. Balanced output definitely sounds different.

Congratulations you passed my reviewer Litmus test; the Cencibel is truly horrible.

Great Channel! How does olina se compare to S12?
Olina kills it!
Is the brand Tripowin owned by Linsoul similar to Thieaudio?

Olina is better! Dioko doesn’t compare.

Best IEM under $100 is TinHiFi T3 Plus it's sound better then all of these and it's much more comfortable too
