So dean had to be a father and a mother to Sam.. when their mom coms back to life she sees they arent 4 and a few months old...their grown men who have learned to fight for themselves and eachother. The mom distances from them and joins a league of hunters and Dean and Sam disagree. Dean tells her he doesnt want that and blah blah. She responds with “I’m not just a mom, and your not just a child anymore” and he responds with “I never was”. Also can you react to “our story 2005-2020” its for supernatural too! Just all the challenges they went through!
There's a lot of meta stuff in supernatural, so yeah. There is actually a series of books written about Sam and Dean in the show, but most people in that world don't know they are about real people and real things. It's just seen as fictional. But some do. The boys are not happy about the books.
