- New Movie World Roller Coaster! Flash Speed Force testing at Movie World Gold Coast! Warner Bros. Movie World is a Theme Park on the Gold Coast in QLD, Australia!
A short video with some raw footage of Flash Speed Force testing shortly before opening. The first clip is an entire ride cycle... do you think it's too short? Maybe it's a special length for testing? What do you think?
Flash Speed Force is the rethemed Surfrider coaster that used to be at Wet n Wild. It's now themed to the Flash, with one side painted red and one yellow, representing The Flash and Reverse Flash respectively. The ride is located right within Superman Escape, which gives both rides some really unqiue perspectives whilst riding!

A little video showing a full test cycle of Flash Speed Force testing at Movie World prior to opening! Do you think it's too short? Or maybe it's a just that length for testing? What do you think?
Also, new Movie World update coming soon!
“Due to guest feedback we have had to make this ride cycle as short as possible…so you feel like the flash!” or “to compensate for our horrendous operations of this ride of 3 min dispatches”
The new pick up line to use..."I'm like Flash Speed Force baby...fast, exciting and over in less then 30 seconds!"
"I'm red on one side, yellow on the other, and spin around a lot"
Ouch!! That's a pretty short ride cycle 😆 To be completely honest though, I'm more concerned about the operations 🙄😬 Thanks for this testing footage, I can't wait for this ride!!
Thank you! The short ride time combined with Movie World operations could be a disaster...
I mean I suppose its just supposed to be a mini ride but still 30 seconds, but hey it'll still be cool with the Superman ride clashing with The Flash Speed Force ride.
Will be interesting to see how many times they actually interact, with both rides having short cycles
Unique!
Too short. I wish staff had the option of running a longer ride cycle when the queue is short. That was my biggest gripe with DDD (when it worked).
Agreed. Vortex also has that problem!
Should be roughly the same run time as the surfrider at we n wild. From videos on youtube, surfrider was roughly 50 seconds.
That would make sense! Will be interesting to compare when Flash has actual riders
that runtime is shocking 😬
Oof. You’d want it to run longer than that.
For sure!
Yeh that's a bit short
Watching old videos of Surf Rider and syncing them up, the ride cycle is exactly the same. Really disappointing but frankly expected with such low capacity
I can't believe I didn't think of comparing the footage to Surfrider!
That looks terrifyingly boring 😂
Yeah, it's more of mid level coaster. The interactions with Superman should be great though!
@@ThemeParkOgre as long as it runs long enough to catch the coaster. If they hold every ride linked to the coaster they will likely have a longer ride time to allow the coaster to pass by. But even then im worried if you only run this once per coaster ride, youd have to run it for a good while, or have a bit of a waiting period that you otherwise wouldnt need. Im not expert, idk how the coordination of two rides work, its quite a bit to think about!
@@nascarjake787 They're not going to link each ride's cycle to each other, that indeed wouldn't work well at all due to what you mentioned. Have to pray to the coaster gods each ride that everything aligns perfectly for those awesome interactions
It looks pretty stupid to me honestly maybe it looks better in person but mid af from what I see
It's more of a filler, mid level thrill coaster. The interactions with Superman should be awesome though!
