Friends, Goans and Countrymen, lend me your ears!
This is my humble attempt to sing "LINDA" name changed from the original track "DAISY", the song which has been woven into a faded tapestry that is interlaced with me, you, our friends, seasons, and places throughout our lifespan.
Now, I would like to recall the amazing feeling of spending time and singing LINDA with my besties, friends and families in Goa, Mumbai & wherever in this world that happens to be. Linda has been acting as the most powerful musical mnemonic for me, and for most of our friends, ever since we first listened to it at some points in our lifetimes.
Originally penned, composed and sung by Late Mr. Remmie Colaco as "DAISY", this song is the soundtrack of all our lives and reminds us of that old school past, late-night parties, and get togethers, making it as a piece of memory lane that evokes our happier times. This song reminds us that we’re better together. Nostalgia is a universal human emotion and LINDA is intertwined with it harmoniously.
LINDA - everybody likes her, but, nobody wants to be like her.
I would like to dedicate this song to all the jolly good old boys of Zambaulim (Tibush, Seby, Venny, Noni, Simon, Bobby, Caje, David, Nicky, Michael (Bindass), Michael Rod, Edward, Lopes, Milton, Polly, Inacio, late Camy, Querobin, Leoboy & Babu). May we again get opportunities to spend time together & sing out loud this great song.
