I am impressed, I think these are different from the others because these speakers don't need amplification, nor a receiver, they are always ready to use them with the computer that is where I manage all my music files. The Edifier S2000Pro, are another good option, although they handle a Dac (Texas Burr-Brown PCM1802), this is not better than the DAC obtained from the Yamaha NX-N500 (ES9010K2M). I do not understand how people can complain about the bluetooh connection when you can take advantage of their internal DAC, so that you would spend so much money to finally use it as a bluetooh speaker? ... Finally without fear of being wrong, these speakers are the best I've seen so far .
Hope you are enjoying yours. These are the best Mini active speakers for their age (2016) that are so feature packed and future proofed to this level. Mine are still going strong. I stream Qobuz flac 192KHz over LAN ethernet connection. Excellent speakers i have a pair, the sound rivals systems in the two digit figures if set up correctly.. You can't beat 30hz to 40KHz A/B analog bi amplification.
I got a set but am not too happy with the streaming quality. Am streaming with the Music Cast on Tidal Hifi. I guess it’s streamer does not give that good a quality. Hmmmm .. But I must say it’s a great little unit and so much cheaper than the KEF LS50W
I think you only get 96KHz with the Wireless. You get 192KHz with LAN ethernet and digital optical for TV. The speakers sound best through LAN for 192KHz. If you want higher quality, use the usb DAC connection, which is capable of 32Bit 384KHz playback. Yamaha ASIO drivers are downloadable to Windows and MacOS. Encapsulated streams DSD256 1/ 11.2MHz.
Nice sounding speakers, I'm impressed! I got a question, how did you hook up the speakers to your laptop? Did you use any external DAC? Thanks in advance!
Hi my experience with nx500 is good. Not sure about the other brands but remember this is just 2 channels no sub. Good for music which is my main intention not for gaming I guess.
@@asedillo1 YES. They sound amazing for gaming. I use them in games all the time through my LG OLED via AMD HDMI Out. The speakers are connected via Optical 192KHz.
Hi, i tried using it via bluetooth and as expected not as good as USB.....I always use it via usb connection and always get very good result....I would still highly recommend it if you don't intend to use it via blutooth....Right now I am using it as my PC speaker...but comparing it with my other 2 HiFis....within nearfield listening, it is good :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
You don't buy serious hifi systems to listen to Bluetooth. It is not made for Hi Resolution despite what the other brands tell you. That is marketing rubbish. High quality speakers like these need LAN or USB for uncompressed cd and higher quality music playback.

And so so much worse that KEF, so do not compare The Price.

Hi thanks for listening.....I actually use the USB connection using the internal DAC of NX500.
The USB side is 384KHz 32 Bit. Best quality of sound through PC Qobuz, Tidal. Although I use ethernet for 192KHz 24 Bit through the Music Cast app.
I am buying new PC speakers, which would you recommend?
Yamaha NX-N500 or Audioengine HD6 or Dynaudio Xeo 2?

Thank You for the feedback.
Nice video! But why the shaking?
Thanks for listening. I'm actually just hand holding the phone.
Does the Yamaha NX500 look good with the TV? i'm just curious, i want to use with PS4 games.
I have not tried using it with the TV. Thanks for watching.

Tnx.
Should I buy it
Hello....It is worth it specially if you are listening nearfield. Sounds great.
Hello. What is the limit of nearfield for them by Your feeling? What distance until the sound picture is still solid?
bluetooth listening is real shit with these speakers...very disappointing...dont buy

@@asedillo1 for my intentions these speakers are absolutely useless
