Over watch should have a game mode with all old hero abilities that would be good
I mean that would be good but also how much damage dva did before the nerf. Also bastion with his own shield plus the damage he does.
@@beefboss1217 back then he didn’t do that much damage, it is like d.va now accept 10 meters away, it was t overpowered, plus you can’t turn around
I wouldn´t be surprised if they might give some heroes old abilites as Hero-Talents in OW2. I mean we already saw in a clip that Mercy is going to have the maz-res ability as a talent. Ps: With Hanzo´s hero-talent which causes his arrow to hunt down enemies I would even like to see Scatter-Arrow return. :)
I’m new to Overwatch and would love that. With classic 6 v 6 as well to get the experience you had 👍

you forgot that sym was reworked many times, like the plates shields
Now mercy cannot resurrect immediately, even with valk. They removed it

she used to heal 60 hp/s, now it's only 50 (except during valk where it's still 60)
They should’ve kept it, but made the cooldown for it in her valk longer

MOST IMPORTANT THINGS:
-Symmetra had 2 ults choose: The Team Shield Generator as ultimate and the Global portal that spawned into the base.
-Genji had 8 seconds of Dragon Blade..(Totally broken at that time)
P.s. I miss sitting in the base and getting the POTG with old Torb 😍
but the first symetra dont have that.
The first only use 3 torrets, go trough shields, portal and shield generator as common ability.
Thr second rework can use 6 torrets, a movible shield, cannot hit trought shields and the ultis you said

The only bad thing about losing scatter arrows is the animation doesn’t make as much sense anymore.

As someone who mains support and plays her from time to time, having to wait for all your teammates to die just to do a huge rez got repetitive plus it was easy to predict since people would know to obviously go find the enemy mercy so she can't rez

Bastion has gone through so many changes
I miss scatter arrow, such an fun and unique ability
I liked scatter arrows more than storm arrows
Scatter arrow was less skill based making Hanzo too strong even in lower levels.
@@dangerkid699 Scatter arrows were for close range, and his regular attack was med to far range
Scatter was OP. The kill was guaranteed everytime Hanzo had it. He could one-shot tanks like Rein or Roadhog with full health.
@@nando_ugt agreed. It's already annoying enough getting headshot by him. I remember playing a deathmatch at petra and I was in the area where there's a green jump pad but it's dark and a hanzo just randomly aimed up near the top and one shotted me.

I'm not sure the video clarified on the fact that Symmetra's normal ammo no longer automatically aims on the opponents but still a good video. Loved it, so informative.

new player here . . . man old bastion and old torb must have been those heroes where the op for goes 'oh snap we're in trouble' and every team had to roll with a old mercy just . . . like old final fantasy where you had to have the character with life / revive / ressurrect magic in all parties . . . I kinda wish I got into OW way back (I even had a battlenet for WOW and SC / SC 2 and knew someone to get me a beta key) but I was into Mech Warrior online and left in 2018 b/c each month spent $40-$100 on the new mechs coming out each month . . . and got into other games . . . OW is much more of a dynamic game than MW online

@@Dot_97 yeah supports heal now but they had different ways of supporting. Like how zen can heal but his primary method of support is providing damage
Just came back to the game after taking a break for Legion launch in 2016. Was playing Junkrat and running from my own bombs because I remembered they did damage to me. Guess not anymore

Honestly the only thing i would keep from old Torb is when he overloads his turret temporarily turns into a level 3, it would give him and his turret more synergy
but they would also need to nerf the overload cooldown

You missed quite a few key reworks in this video. Symmetra's primary fire no longer tracked and you completely skipped her shields that she threw. Also she had 2 ults on OW's release.

This glosses over many details with the changes and doesn't highlight all the visual differences. A quick example, showing Hanzo's original Sonic Arrow, but not using it again for the "After" portion. I get that it's more about the major changes in abilities removed or added, but it's unfortunate to not see. Symmetra has also gone through multiple reworks and an entire iteration of her wasn't shown here.

So glad that I didn't play in the era where bastion had a fucking 1000 health shield on top of already being able to heal himself.
That’s when I was a Genji main. People still didn’t know what reflect did. Bastion and their whole team would pump me and I’d do over 2000 damage in a reflect. Was fun while it lasted. Memories from 2016.
