This is my Mugler Alien Man Full Presentation Preview Review. Now that I have a full bottle before the actual official North American launch of Mugler's Alien Man. It was worth for me to do this video offering my thoughts on this new Mugler Men's fragrance launch. I discuss everything about the presentation for Mugler Alien Man. This one grew on me FAST. Refined and sexy. Longevity is much better than everyone thinks, it just stays close to the skin throughout. In my opinion, it opens as unique designer scent. Then dries down to a completely different, unique designer scent. Its at its sexiest throughout the mid. The white amber really shows up in its late stages and at this point it performs similar to the Molecule series for me (mixes with your natural scent to create something sweet and beautiful). Totally different from any other Mugler, but really what else can you expect from this house? Definitely a keeper, I think it will catch quite a buzz when it finally hits stores.

Really unique, yet not what I expected as from Alien line, but it is great release. Interesting choice by Mugler on perfumer for this fragrance, one minus with this fragrance is really the performance of it, not a Mugler performance at all. The star logo is basically a Muglers trademark or signature, and about the refillable thing, it unscrews, just like Alien womens line bottles. Always loved Mugler for originality and uniqueness, we will see what flankers it will bring and if A*Men line continue and I hope it will.
my bottle arrived today & I wore it to bed (the best place to get to know a fragrance) it smells like nothing else it is totally unique and smells like nothing else - totally ALIEN it is not a warm fragrance a little bit of leather I dont smell flowers or spice I do smell an odd mix of dill, anise & rhubarb leaf it is a very odd organic note a slight metallic note drifts in and out if it were a color it would be dark grey green this one smells like it is not of this earth JIM from MIAMI BEACH

Hello, i have bought this perfume to my husband...my husband try it in a Store, i smelled it too , and we really liked how this perfume smells..smells.different to others men perfumes.
So i bought a big bottle to my husband for a gift..
And now we paired as i have alien for women 😘
Even though they aren't the exact same, everytime I see the Alien Man bottle it reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor's Passion for Men.
Sampled this when I was on vacation in Hamburg. Sprayed on test strip and I was like eh, my girl also said the same. I didn’t throw away the strip though and just went about doing my normal stuff. And an hour into it, I smelled it again and the more I smelled, the more we both liked it. Don’t know about performance or on sling but will definitely need to test it out. Excellent review

I wasn't at all interested in this fragrance and just this week got hold of it fairly cheap with a shower gel set and it's pretty good i think, I'm several years late to the party and the entire mugler A"men line seems to of been discontinued and all hope gone of a parfum sadly, however i am enjoying Alien man by mugler i think it's been slept on

I only recently saw this fragrance and you did a review like 8 months ago. Wow, really impressive. Love the presentation and sprayer of this fragrance and the name is quite unique.
There was what I consider to be another bottle style for Mugler men's fragrances and that was the bottle for Ice Men, A Men Summer Flash and A Men Sunessence. I'm interested in trying this fragrance and am hoping it is better than I would expect from what I have taken from most of the reviews I have seen so far.
Yea I have those bottles but they are totally inspired by the A*Men ones but they were clear for sure somewhat different yes! :)

I’m very interested in Alien Man but Mugler just released 5 Mugler Colognes to mix, create, and play!The rainbow collection of cologne fragrances. Each one is different and wonderful to mix to create your individual scent!

Women's Alien has a slight metallic edge as well. As for dill notes, many think that women's MJ Decadence and Divine Decadence are heavy on the dill, but I really don't get that, and think it may come down to personal chemistry in how the scent acts on your own skin. Dill as similar to licorice is something I'll have to check out further, as right now I can't feature it. Consider reviewing Mugler Aura -- even though it's marketed to women, I think some men who are into mint, herbs, and vanilla might like it for summer. I wore it yesterday, very hot day, am so glad I got this one.
In my opinion, this first Alien is going to be the base behind what I hope will be a long list of flankers! I do also love the bottle. I'm glad he went with a relatively appealing scent to start the line off with. If it was too good, the flankers would be overshadowed by the original. So, I think Mugler went with this choice.

The way random reviewers basically made me buy as like Mugler just has a whole rip on top notch marketing. They had it sold before they bottled it. I just ordered this and few of the Angel Men ones.

Just got my bottle and I absolutely love it. And the performance is really damn good, overall great release
I cant unsmell the dill note now that i know its in this fragrance, not a dill fan at all but this fragrance is quite nice.
The original Lolita Lemp. Au Masc. I was not a fan of but the oud version seems less sweet. The original Alien initially was off putting (watery?) To me and the shop girl (years ago) so I am glad to hear this is a little odd with the dill.
I actually liked this one when I first smelled it. I like the leathery back bone
This fragrance reminds me so much of YSL la nuit de l'home electrique blu, but less sweeter and more metallic.
I have a decant on the way! Can't wait to smell it. I wish they would have tried to make it a masculine jasmine I think we need more masculine florals but I'm still excited to smell it also since Mugler is not designing clothes anymore would that make Mugler a niche house?
Yes we certainly do need masculine florals for men. A masculine Jasmin would be great for sure! :)
I’ll be damned! You’re the only one other than me that likes it. I have fought my self to take it back and get something g else. I enjoy it, but it’s not adopted by the masses for sure. :(

I was so excited when I heard this was getting released! But now it seems like a mediocre fragrance that stands out but doesn't wow like I thought it would. I guess the alien marketing it's just so cool to me. But you can't win them all LOL

Great review sebastian! I haven't tried alien man yet I have been trying to get a bottle online with out paying a huge premium but it's not really easy in the states. People on Facebook have been selling decants maybe I'll just go with that but I love the bottle. Im glad the sprayer works better than the amen line. Keep up the good work!
Why did you say that Mr. Burberry is "blue"? Prominent note is estragon, which is also quite daring in my opinion...
Estragon? What is this note? I don't see it listed anywhere. You mean tarragon? Besides Mr. Burberry is all in that same similarly influenced "Blue" fragrances inspired or influenced by Chanel's Blue De Chanel! I don't find Mr. Burberry or Tarragon as a note to be daring at all. I don't hate the fragrance but it's not daring to me! :)
Yes, tarragon :D Sorry, in Germany it's called Estragon (out of whatever reason...) so I just assumed it would be the same in English.

I didn't realize there was an EDP of this. It's strictly an EDT and three flankers that actually are not good at all also in EDT! :)

Can't stand this one Sebastian... To me this is so bland and boring, was hoping for this to be so much better than it ended up being, i thought they would try to find a way to make a masculine Jasmine focused fragrance more in line with Alien for women but again was left utterly disappointed.
