With the rest of DTP (excluding Tity Boi, who later became 2 Chainz) they were all talented but being under another artist they were only gonna go so far. It was smart not signing to Nelly, because sometimes an artist with an ego is gonna stunt the growth of another artist that’s signed to him, but alot of times just because an established artist has a big fanbase, dosen’t mean that their influence is STRONG enough to PUSH another artist. Nelly was successful but he could only really push Murphy Lee, not the entire St. Lunatics.
