The Barrowland Ballroom is the best venue in the world. I live in Glasgow and the venue is basically my home but I have been to gigs in countless countries on 3 continents and have plenty to compare. Even though the architecture of the room is completely different the vibe is a bit like at 9:30 club in DC. The Barras is an old ballroom and it used as a venue now for generations. Bowie once stole one of the wee sticky stars that are on some of the walls. The capacity is about 1,900 and it has a swinging wood floor from ballroom days. The band has a lot of history in this place. The video you watched is part of a live stream they did last summer where they played a couple of older songs and the new album in full. Since they could not have an audience they used the whole space for the live recording including the glass cube that was placed on the floor where usually the audience is. The producer for the live recording is Adam Noble who is amazing. Cheers for being open to it and get to some of the heavier tracks one day. PS: I always stand stage left on the bass side of things because James (the bass player and twin brother of the drummer) ROCKS. If you want more bass listen to "End of" or / and "Sunrise". MON THE BIFF!
Sick that you're giving these guys a chance. They do have heavier songs as stated by previous commentors - they're a really diverse band with grunge, punk, prog and metal influences.

Could you guys react to another Mick Gordon song from the doom eternal soundtrack, if you like techno I would suggest the song called “Doom Hunter” and if you like low bass I would suggest either “Meathook” or “Metal Hell”.
