I drove through there one time in the snowy winter about 20 Years ago, best scenery I've ever seen!

Aww Winter when all the Californians go back home and the Laborers collect unemployment.
Cold snowy...2009 was mild no snow on xmas was like a clear day just colder then hell..2007 they had record snow..But at the time as a house painter there was no winter work.
I keep telling myself I will move back one day...I am out of construction now and in a different field..Its a beautiful town.

I miss the sandy beaches I saw in California. Coeur d'Alene has gone UPSCALE since 1994 in a big way. I hear Strider from LOTR among others have discovered CDA. Which means you better have a pretty dang good career lined up now if you're planning to live there.

Massive drug problems in north Idaho, schools are crummy and homeless people abound. Not enough shelters with some freezing in the streets and alleys. Please move to Wyoming instead of north Idaho. If you have money when you come to Idaho, you gotta make sure you have enough when you leave or your going to get stuck here. It sucks the life right out of you. Besides, we are in the KILLZONE of YELLOWSTONE. Washimgton pays better money and more services for those of you who get stuck and need welfare.
The kill zone for Yellowstone is all of the western US!
I wish people would stop moving here this place is way to overpopulated now. Stay in California and do not move here!!!
John Lee We just had a bank robbery right by my house the other day and the guy was from California. The Raciest guy that ran the Aryan Nations (Richard Butler) was from California. And lets not forget Joseph Duncan the worst of them all who was also from California. All I see moving up here is California trash. Don't get me wrong I'm sure your a great guy but Californians bring that shit with them. My wife is from California and she definitively has that one person in her family that is just a total peace of work. If you have that one person in your family please leave them behind. ps I am the ONLY person I know from Idaho other than my brother and immediate family (Mom and Dad). It is so easy for poor ghetto people in California to come here and become middle class, Look at Post Falls its a freaking ghetto because you can get FHA home loan and is the only place up here where you can do so thus filled with California trash. You guys are driving out all the locals by raising the prices on homes in CDA. I am very very lucky to still be living here If my family did not have such good roots and connections I would have had to leave my home.

Berto A Theres racist ppl in every city and every town in America. Not just white ppl. I've met black racists, Hispanic racists, Asian racists etc. I've met them all. Ive actually met more black racists than any other type of racist. All races have ppl who hold prejudices towards other cultures and races. This is nothing new. Black ppl in California have been complaining about the Asian business owners for decades.
@@mdloser1 The reason there is more racism down in the south is because they actually have to deal with different races on a daily basis. They don't have a nice 90%+ white town to relax and be safe in. Real easy to be tolerant when you don't actually have to deal with any of it!
