    Boracay was actually Conde Nast Readers Choice Best Island in Asia for 2022! (It was Siargao in 2021). And Boracay was also included in TIME Magazine's 'World's Greatest Places of 2022'!

    This is what I'm talking about. Every country has this problem where there is no "native Black" stake, ownership and control in the tourism. Where are the black Filipino (not biracial blasian, black on both sides) Filipinos restaurants there? I need a list.
    I want to find at BLACK Filipino restaurants, not mixed race or WHITE Filipino ones. The mixed race and whites in every nation group already have too much money.

    The prices you see in the beach area are definitely a bit more expensive considering its peak season (Feb-May). If you want cheaper prices when you go to Boracay, the best time to go is Oct-Nov. They'll normally have 40-50% off on board and lodging. Even full body massages (1 hr) go down from P1000 to P500 pesos.

      Still good to go in november ? For weather and water temperature?

    • @pkpnyt4711
      @pkpnyt4711 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Mockabv yes, it's actually perfect. I went to Boracay just last November (2022), and the water was still warm, and I think we had 1 day where it drizzled. I stayed for 7 days and 6 nights in station 1, and it was awesome! I got great rates. Another saving tip when eating. Look for Andok's (there's 1 in station 1, 2, and 3) if you want lechon (grilled) manok (chicken) Filipino style and their grilled pork belly for super cheap food. They also sell the cheapest 1.5 liter soda in the whole island. Lol! I buy it, bring it home to my room and chow down cheaply. I got free brunch from the resort, so I only paid for food during dinner. You should also try the choriburger (chorizo in a bun) that they sell all over the place (sellers with carts selling this). Super cheap on the go food that's good and local. There are some good places/cafes along the beach (station 2) for some decently priced food, if you just want to chill out and relax.

      @@Mockabv check out "Seawind Boracay". It's a resort in station 1 with my favorite bar that sells the best fruit shakes. Get the mango/banana/pineapple fruit shakes for $4 usd, it's even better than "Jonah's" that's popular on the island. This same bar also has happy hour where they sell a bucket of beer (6 beers) for $7 usd.

      @Mr. Mondesir Well, the prices in Boracay beach are indeed expensive. Just go somewhere farther away from the beach and the prices will go a lot lower. Resorts are always more expensive. Though just like you, I would prefer the prices to be cheaper. It seems that the law of supply and demand works here. A lot of tourists going to the same place tend to inflate the prices.
