People seem to forget that politicians are voted for and paid by the people. The people are the employer and the government is our employee. We pay them to work for all of us. No-one left behind.
Having read "Hillbilli Elegy", it's obvious that Vance has turned his back on his childhood and youth ideals. His background should have turned him into a die-hard socialist (and thus working to improve the lives of the working class).
