What Fanxing said really touched me, being from a working class family and wanting to pursue the arts (especially in a ultra competitive market like China) must be insanely hard. And the fact he’s barely 20!! You don’t see a lot of actors or idols in Asia (or anywhere really) from these backgrounds because they just simply don’t have the option to do this, and talking openly about it is also really hard too. I’m glad he talked about the people in the background who make the magic happen but never get the credit or the glamour.
