The BYU-Tulsa bowl game was the first bowl game I've seen BYU play! I just erupted into cheers when I saw Hoffman made that catch on my T.V. Been a HUGE fan ever since. Now if we could only beat Utah again. I'd LOVE to see that. I've never seen BYU beat Utah live or on T.V before ever since I became a fan of BYU.

McMahon was one of the greatest BYU players ever, but I think Detmer, Steve Young, Harvey Unga, Austin Collie, and Rob Morris rank up there. Best pro careers would include Vai Sikahema, Young, McMahon, Todd Christensen, Bart Oates, Brett Keisel, and Chad Lewis.

and riley nelson you are the only QB that i think i have ever actually disliked. he put on some great performances but man he was awful.

Nelson could have been one of the more memorable BYU QBs, but his legacy is tarnished by the whole Jake Heaps quarrel, and the fact that Nelson refused to leave games even though he was obvoiusly hurt and plainly not capable, and BYU lost several games because of his pride.
