Could you tell me how to remove the resist line at the end?
Thank you for your question. Since my solvent based is soft, I don't rinse it out. But normally when resist (gutta) is water based (acrylic) it could be removed in long rinsing in warm soapy water.
How can I paint a flat wash if my frame is smaller than the fabric
Actually You can skewer silk while it's wet, but the result may not be satisfied. Much easier when frame is bigger than fabric
@@lateraladvents for example you pined one part of the silk on a frame, paint it, and then unpin silk, move along the frame with unpainted part and pin again... I'm not sure I explained well. It's better to show... You gave me an idea to shoot it.
@@issilkpainting you explained it very well. Would love a video too... My paints don't blend that well, maybe it's me, maybe it's the paints as I don't have dyes.
@@lateraladvents there're more and less liquid paints, that's why they might not bleed well
The next video is going to be Dyes vs Paints. Are you interested?
