My best friends gave me the best present I could ever ask for. And I was beyond speechless and extremely happy and grateful for it. My best friend’s brother(s) had compiled all the Pokémon cards he had collected since 1996, the Kanto and Johto regions I believe. There were easily 800 + cards in this huge binder and a plastic box full of them. I even inherited his brother’s Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. I promised my best friend’s brother(s) to coffee if I found extremely valuable cards in his collection I inherited from him. I look forward to organizing ALL of it.

I used to find Yu-Gi-Oh cards at Dollar General and it wasn't that many Pokemon cards there. Now the tables have flipped, and now it has all Pokemon cards and just Yu-Gi-Oh Lite edition packs 😆😆
These pulls were phenomenal! I’ll have to admit that my favorite pull from this opening was the Special Illustration Rare Meowscarada EX from “Paldea Evolved” - which is one set from the Scarlet & Violet era that I don’t have any of the cards from.
I knew I should have grabbed those bigger tins at DG, grabbed a few mini tins and pokeballs instead. Pulled the nine tails illustration rare though and I love the art on that.
I feel like Dollar General is being slept on right now. At least in my area. Always such a big amount of stock at them. Hope you have a wonderful new years Tina!
