Despite their faults and their various quirks, I love the hades family portrayed in this game. Under all the snark and various callous undertones of various characters, they all want the best for everyone, including the big man hades himself.
And despite all that he is the most stable and nicer god compared to the rest honestly minus hephaestus and hermes, working for hades may be harsh and hard but again compared to most of his brothers and sisters on Olympus, i rather work with mister tsundere doom, gloom and snark
@@Darkmythsolider He may be harsh, but he's honest and whatever he says, rarely has any second meaning or intentions. If he was an olimpian... ugh... pure politics and games of power, all the time; in the short or the long run. Hades only wants to keep all working orderly, nothing more, nothing else.
My favourite thing is how close and fond of each other Persephone and Nyx are. There’s no competition, just gratitude towards each other, both understanding that they are equally important to Zagreus. It’s just really heartwarming to see, Zagreus is lucky to have two beautiful mothers. 💕
If Hades were to have a sequel, he'll probably have at least 2 siblings Macaria: Goddess of Blessed Death and Melinoe: Goddess of Ghosts. Maybe 3 if Supergiant Games figure out what to do with Plutus: God of Abundance.
Ohhh I wish Persephone and Hades had Makaria, Melinoe and Plutus too... But i understand that as the producers changed a lot of the Greek mythological too in this game
There is quite a lot. Hades and Achilles will comment on all the hidden aspects and some of the gods will comment on them as well and I think Demeter will comment if you use her aspect as well.
Three. You're forgetting little Plutus, Zag's younger brother, god of wealth. The game presents itself with the idea that mortals don't actually have accurate representations of immortal doings. Look at Zagreus and Dionysus misleading Orpheus-- that alone would be enough proof. Zag also seems to be himself as well as an amalgam of his other siblings-- his love for Thanatos included. Also we're missing the drama of Menthe, the nymph who tried to comfort Hades when Persephone was away. Persephone punished her in a fit of jealousy upon her return, turned her into the mint plant. Would have been nice to have her trapped in Persephone's garden along with Parsle.
@@Xebelan Still would like to see his sister's represented as it doesn't seem right to fridge them, plus they also didn't plan to have Zag so... her saying no doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. Also, there's a lot of hinting at DLC or sequel baiting so, who knows?
@@NoirRaven They weren't fridged, that implies showing up to further the hero's quest and either killed or put on the metaphorical bus when they were no longer useful. They just don't exist in this version (like many other Theoi)-- kinda like Orion for Artemis or the fact Athena and Hephaestus have an annual love affair and a child or that Iris also goes down to the Underworld regularly and is faster than Hermes because she's the rainbow on Master Chaos' hair-- it's all very condensed for the game. Ancient mythology is messier than modern folk might like it to be. Considering Zag's youngest sister Makaria, goddess of blessed death, is married to Thanatos and Melinoe is the goddess of ghosts and undead-- gonna have to say they might not appear because it would screw with the story as presented. Plutus being the god of wealth given to mortals by Hades and Persephone is still a possibility. Gifting mortals the work of his parents constantly would make him an unsuitable heir as well. Plutus/Plutis could be a girl in game canon. Cut her hair short and have her trying to mimic Zag and the mortals could be forgiven for thinking Zagreus has a brother if she follows him up to the surface.
@@Xebelan Whatever man, that explanation was overly long for a simple one liner and honestly, I don't care if it interferes with the romance between Than and Zag; Makaria deserves to exist. She doesn't even need to be romantically involved with anyone to exist and it's pretty clear by the canon polyamory that Than is fine with Zag "two -timing" on him so why would Zag care if Than got the hots for Macaria? I'm also not looking forward to another masc-presenting "sister," who's mistaken for a he. There's very little point in doing that and reduces the characters impact as a female lead/co star.

Gigaros vs Varatha: The Hellish Bident of Tartarus vs The Eternal Bident-like Spear and Titanslayer, two weapons belonging to Hades. What a battle it would be!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like the little touch that Persephone starts with so many hearts already unlocked
I think they all start with 6, save for a select few like Hades.
I HATE that little touch >:(

They kept a lot too. Reinterpreted (the song of Orpheus about Zagreus is stupidly funny XD) but pretty faithful.
And now Hades and Persephone do have another child in the sequel!
The little “You alright?” From Thanatos was all the aftercare I needed
