It was a huge blast from the past. I'm so glad this hadn't been spoiled for me. Even with all of the nostalgia berries I'd already eaten, I didn't expect to hear LocoRoco.

the 2D sections were pretty spot on, if you liked that you'll love LocoRoco. Asobi is made up of people that worked on LocoRoco so it's no surprise it ended up so accurate.

Oh my god. I’ve never heard that laugh at 1:10 in the OG song before… I didn’t know the isolated vocals exist out there somewhere still. I am so unbelievably in love with this…
It’s funny if you have the isolated files from the locoroco games and look especially at kulche and Chavez tracks their voice actors laugh and hum so much, like they were vibing but it’s impossible to hear unless you have their isolated vocals from the files :D
@@C_to_the_S Yeah its possible, though its a pain, and the quality is questionable, in Locoroco 1 each like 'word' is its own sound file since each sound was mapped to 1 of the 20 max locos for surround sound purpose, its horrible, and the first game audio is just overall not great. Locoroco 2 is much more forgiving the vocals and bg are separated in groups, so even though the chorus of locos is not easily separatable, its less files at a good quality, however some Pekerones Franzea vocals are missing since they were repurposed in Perculoka, and Tupleys vocals were accidentally replaced with Budzis in Shamplin, so those are just permanently lost. Also I can tell greg Irwin and leah dizon recorded on openback headphones because you can hear the demos they listen to while they sang since the volume was too high. Midnight carnival mostly uses the same files from loco 2 and has the same issues, and Locoroco Coccorecho has the best quality sound and separations, but its only for the LocoRoco song witch is the only song used, and no viole :).

I managed not to get emotional wiith Mono and Wander, with Ico and Yorda, with Trico and the Boy, with Amaterasu and Issun etc... but when this song started and i see the level i felt really nostalgic, Loco Roco was pure happiness, a game so simple but so brilliant, seeing it for another time (probably the last time ever) was so unexpected and intense for me, thank you Asobi...

I played loco roco when I was literally like 5-6 years old and didn’t even remember it existed at all Finding the bot and hearing the song start felt like some deep, vaulted memory was being unrooted. Nostalgia on a different level. Thank you for making me a kid again team asobi

When I defeated Mecha Leon, i thought the special bot would be Aloy for Forbidden West. Boy, the surprise I got when Loco was choosen as the special bot. It hit me so fucking hard that it reminded me of my young, innocent self back when I was 7 or 8 and I started crying. I'm glad that Loco was chosen as it was my childhood game.

Easy to pronounce, consecutive syllables is my guess. What you hear can be easily read as written
Maybe the heavy use of the "ch", "p" and "ng" sounds as well. At 1:00 I can easily mistake it as Korean as well
