Great video down to the ground. I had android before and I got surprised when getting iphone 15 pro max of how iOs is far behind the evolution with Os.
I had a iPhone 12 and was like ill wait to upgrade but then the 14 pro and then 15 pro came along and I was like I already have 90% of that in my 12 so I went to s24 ultra. Way better
Laughed when he mentioned the vivid mode on the s22 ultra making things stand out when every other video says it’s pretty much the same and a downgrade from previous model. Really wanna try this phone out. Been with Apple since 2015 before that I was android from like the Galaxy s 3 all the way to the nexus 6 xl. Tried the note 10 when that came out and couldn’t stay with android went right back but things have changed and this phone really stands out. Currently using the iPhone 14 pro max.
Most asians who use iphone not because of ecosystem and camera but mostly on status. I have an iphone as well but i still like my s24u more mostly because of its openness and ability to download paid apps.
I gave up on apple after the iphone 6s. I absoloutly hate their walled garden approach. it's my phone, let me do what I want with it. Android gives me that freedom. Not saying this should change anyones oppinion on either phone as they are both great bits of hardware. Just my 2 cents
There are same shit. Use what is more comfortable to you. I use Android because I want to download and change my ringtone. Also, I like recording my calls. IOS cannot do that.
I got the Samsung S24ultra. I was considering the iPhone 15 pro with256gb preferably but at $1099 and no discounts and I couldn't get traded in value for my Pixel 7 pro (even if I did low value since the pixel 6pro was around $140? From apple) and Samsung was offering $450 for my Pixel 7 pro so I got theS24 ultra for$837. I love the phone.
@sjorssjors6475 No, it's not annoying. Reviewers only repeat this nonsense because some other reviewer has said it. No one holds this phone the way this reviewer was holding it in that segment. Notice he was squeezing or pushing the corner into his hand. I've had Samsung Galaxy phones since Note 2. I've never had the corner poke into my palm.
I moved from the Note20U to the iPhone 14PM a year ago. I thought I'd miss the boxy form factor of the Note. I adjusted quickly, even if the iPhone felt small for a while (!). Yesterday I checked out the S24U at a local boutique. It's nice but I'm staying with the iPhone. Will likely upgrade to 16PM at the end of the year. So I use both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and S24 Ultra both as my daily drivers. iPhone is personal and S24 Ultra is for work. I've been a die hard iPhone user for many years and just recently changed my work phone to an Android phone. I was using a Pixel 8 Pro for work, which was good, but decided to return it and go with the S24 Ultra. I've only had my S24 Ultra for about week, but it is SERIOUSLY making me reconsider my iPhone loyalty for my personal phone. The S24 Ultra is a DAMN good phone and in my opinion, outshines the iPhone 15 Pro Max in almost every way..........and that's saying something coming from me who has worshiped the fruit overlord for many, many years now. Not sure what I'm going to do when it's time for a personal phone upgrade now as Samsung and Android is really making me rethink some things. I know it will never happen (because Apple would lose too much market share if they did), but if iMessage and Facetime ever came to Android, I feel it would almost be game over for Apple at least on the phone hardware front. This was a great video Ken! Thanks!
I have both, iPhone 15 pro max and s24 ultra, I feel the same way... I wish my Mac and apple watch worked with the s24 seamlessly.... I still prefer the iPhone camera though
Personally they are both overpriced and anyone who had at least the 3/4 generation back in either company’s phone would be stupid to upgrade unless the phone they use is completely broken
Like Samsung never copied apple…Samsung is like that black sheep form the family who tries to be accepted by apple every time copying every feature, good or bad
@@RodolphosTechchannel Bro, that is funny since apple copied many of the widgets, always on display and didn't transitioned to full screen once galaxy s9 appeared without physical home button. Not to mentioned those features were already from samsung good lock already since galaxy s9 xd. Which apple in that same year later opted to do the same with iphone xr .Galaxy s9 came on March of 2019 while iphone xr and iphone xs came on October of 2018. Apple copy at lot from samsung as well. You took your time to make a video just for you to come and talk crap about the camera while using 200mp mode. You definitely make the video for yourself lol. Shot at default settings. That is how it is designed to be used. 200mp shot are for land scape shot with enough light and not for everyday to test in moving train or night scene. Come you guys should atleast be professional.

That bit with the photography is exactly why I switched from Samsung to Apple, still using an iPhone 12 mini. From my experience Samsung has impeccable hardware that is always let down by mediocre software whereas Apple always has more conservative hardware that is much more consistent. Galaxy is getting better but those concert shots are a clear indication that Samsung’s image processing lacks context and general comprehension, its computational photography, for me those torn highlights are unacceptable when it has 15-30 images that create that 1 file - all on a phone that costs more than my MacBook 🤢 y’all need to come back to reality, the s24U costs as much as some professional camera bodies, I could buy a nice APSC camera and lens with money left over for what that device costs in my country
Great comparison Ken!!! Also love the setups on both 👌🏼 I’m still using my iPhone 13 mini (and love the thing to death) but may consider upgrading soon due to its recent performance, which when pushed hard, tends to fall a bit short. But I just love the size of this thing 😍
That's the one biggest issue with Samsung, the camera consistency or camera reliability. For this only reason, I will take iPhone even though ios sucks...
I am 100% for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I have used both Apple and Samsung and since purchasing my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, I am confident that I wont be returning to the Apple ecosystem ever again. Samsung just offers to much customization and too many features that just make my life 10x easier compared to using an iPhone. Everything from the way Samsung phones look to perform is better in my opinion. I dont care if they make iPhones able to fly, I will always stick with my Samsung Galaxy S Series phones and nothing else.
seems to me that the camera software need more work, samsung is a great phone that why iphone goes ahead a tiny bit because samsung was so focused on Ai so much they kinda forgot other stuff that needs fixing, if samsung fixes the camera software its a complete win but for now good job apple
What happens when you put a screen protector on the S24 Ultra? Does it negate the effectiveness of the new anti-reflective coating? Bc I refuse to not run a screen protector.
@AlexVassiosOfficial That's my assumption too. After watching a plethora of content covering the s24u, it seems the concensus is that a screen protector does indeed somewhat negate the anti-reflective coating on the new Gorilla Armour Glass. It doesn't negate it entirely tho. Just reduces the effectiveness. Also, it seems many s24u users aren't using screen protectors because of this. While many of those reviewers and real world users are content without using a screen protector.....I just am not at this point in time. I know the new glass is the most scratch resistant we've ever seen/had. That's HUGE! I really appreciate it. Maybe a year or so in, after the s24u has been out in the wild for awhile, I can revisit some of the channels who aren't using a screen protector, and see if they ever aquire any scratches. Personally tho, I will always probably run a tempered glass protector regardless of how scratch and shatter resistant said screen is. I just am pretty hard on phones as I use them out in the field. I've managed to keep my last few phones basically flawless too, by just using a good case and a temped glass screen protector. It's been working for me for years now, and won't change that trend bc of a new anit-reflective coating...no matter how good it is. And personally, I have zero issues seeing my iPhone 15 Pro Max and S24 (base) out in the direct sunlight. These displays are just so bright now, that they overcome a lot of the issues of the past. That's not to disregard the new Gorilla Armour and the amazing step forward its taken. I'm just more or less saying it's not a "necessity"
It's called just using a case instead since the screen is already gorilla glass and you'd have to literally be trying to break your screen to do any damage to it with a good case anyway.
Im a photographer and i decided to switch this year and got a 15 pro now. Never been a huge fan of the Samsung color science and much prefer the camera app on ios. Having the 35mm focal length as default makes shooting much more fun to me personally. I dont shoot with my phone that often but if im gonna have a camera with me anyway in the form of a phone i might as well have one that i like
If I’m gonna be honest… I was team android since day 1 and I used to not understand why people loved iPhone so much when the tech was several years behind android. It wasn’t until May of 2022 that I was like I do want to understand what all the hype was about, I mean I have 14 days to return it if I don’t like it, and I was amazed at how user friendly the Apple ecosystem was. I am now an iPhone user for life, I just upgraded from the 13 pro max to the 15 pro max, most people will say it’s not really much of an upgrade but I can definitely tell the difference
The simplicity on iOS isn't a downside if it's something you're genuinely looking for. Deep customization on Android is killer, but I don't crave that like other people do - and at that point, it really comes down to personal preference on things like looks, ecosystem, etc. but both offer similar experience these days
The most fair review I seen. I got both and still think iPhone is better all round. I feel the s24 is a s23 with a software update and talking of software updates, Samsung said 7 years but if you look how many updates you seen for the s23 ? It’s not good there support. Just look how they dumped the note 10 which could have supported more but stopped it. Samsung are quick to drop phones at times in support. So don’t trust the years of support.
The biggest thing that I hate about my s24 ultra. Is that dang front camera. Be nice if they made it hidden behind the screen. Hate that cut out. Also, doing bench test. Somehow my s23 ultra scored higher in both test done. Seen other tech youtubers mention that also.
You can turn off some AI processing. Go to the camera settings and camera assistant. A lot of settings you can adjust or you can use Pro mode Also using 200mp isn't great to shoot with when moving a lot. Stay at 12mp or 50mp
See the S24 Ultra in person, I like its flat screen. If not for the price and the convenience of AirDrop, it would be my next phone after S25 Ultra come out.
Those who complained about the sharp corner probably have a smooth hand similar to ladies. For people who have masculine hands its ideal and not slippery.
One gets regular updates, never feels laggy even years after and the other one has good specs and nothing can do with it. almost a year behind on updates and slows down over time.
Will you review the vivo x100 pro? I would love to see your take on it especially its camera. Reviewers have been racving about its camera, some even calling it the "dslr killer"😅
Honestly, I think that people should care more about mid-range phones than the high end because that's what most people will get

@@DNKI I love the iPhone experience
I did the same to see what my family and friends loved about ios. I gave it a honest try but I had to go back to Samsung 😂 not for me
@@Mob3tta_01 understandable, you gave it a fair shot and that’s all that matters
Ned from Spider-Man?
bro that's what i've been saying for years, samsung puts goated camera hardware on the phone but the software is implemented half heartedly
Going S24U.
I absolutely adore that shirt!
I recommend the iPhone 15 Pro Max even though I have a 14 Pro Max.
A lot of settings you can adjust or you can use Pro mode
Also using 200mp isn't great to shoot with when moving a lot. Stay at 12mp or 50mp
See the S24 Ultra in person, I like its flat screen. If not for the price and the convenience of AirDrop, it would be my next phone after S25 Ultra come out.
So which one is the best? CrApple or Scamsung? Well it depends what time of the year it is really 😁 been that way for around 10 years now whats new
Those who complained about the sharp corner probably have a smooth hand similar to ladies. For people who have masculine hands its ideal and not slippery.
One gets regular updates, never feels laggy even years after and the other one has good specs and nothing can do with it. almost a year behind on updates and slows down over time.
One thing I love about my pixel is it screens potential scam calls. So i used to get Spam calls all the time now i almost never do.
Can I have that wallpaper from the S24 Ultra? (or let me know where I can get it? OwO)
Brother pls drop the S24 wallpaper artist name or the art piece. Goes hard as a phone wallpaper
Will you review the vivo x100 pro? I would love to see your take on it especially its camera. Reviewers have been racving about its camera, some even calling it the "dslr killer"😅
