I know you were being silly, but your point about players thinking herobrine was real because of alpha land generation makes so much sense. Never really thought about it that way

if the pyramid spawn rate is the same as infdev there should be one at 500,500

No the spawn rate is different. I've been told they start generating at about 3k blocks out

500 500 is really near to spawn, If Dirtpiper does that then 5000 5000.

How exactly do you get crying obsidian?

There is a small chance to get crying obsidian when obsidian is made with water on lava
