Everything that is going on right now is depressing and scary,(especially how the evil one is going after our children😭), but we have to keep the faith in our Heavenly Father and HIS Son Yeshua. The is the weakest presentation in support of the pre tribulation rapture, which is a fraud!v Heres is ''evidence''. John 14:3: ''if I go and prepare a place for you, I will COME BACK AND TAKE YOU to be with me''. Excuse me? Thats proof of a fraudulent pre mid tribulation rapture? That says nothing of the sorts. It simply says...I'll come back and get you...PERIOD. You can't even start here to support this ''pease and safety' false doctrine. I assume this guy is a dispensationalist. Meaning, we only follow a select number of Pauls writings. Once I pointed to a text from the book of James....the pre tribulation dispensationalist response? Thank you so much for this! I needed to hear this in the best way. I've been praying for confirmation from Jesus and this is it. His answers are so clear and undeniable. When I was saved in 2013 one of the first things I did was pray for sight and discernment and boy was it granted! The scales were removed with a quickness.. but the enemy knew this and has worked overtime to keep me from God's promise. I can appreciate what you're saying. I too did that when first saved years ago. It's been incredible to see how God has answered my prayers for that through the years. Exciting. May I suggest that you read Proverbs regularly. Don't neglect the rest of Scripture but make sure you read Proverbs frequently. Keep seeking Him. Keep reading and memorizing Scripture. That will get you through rough times. God's grace and peace to you.

People are already in great tribulations- many people are and they are dying in judgments. I was on my death bed a couple of years ago ( in judgment, in darkness in spirit) so much pain and sorrows. I was in my great tribulations and guess what ? I was a church goer , I was paying tidings and doing good works , I looked good on the outside but I was so dead on the inside ( spirit darkness and blindness ) . I knew I was being judged . I knew if I didn’t fully lay the world down and die in the flesh I was going to parish . I went before the lord with all I had and started giving him my whole heart . I’m still washing myself today baptizing myself in his spirit, clothing myself in righteousness. It’s very hard and painful . It’s so hard letting this foolish world go , it’s so hard letting go the love of this world and the things in it . We have to hang on the cross like Christ did . Let us die now ! Let us truly love God with all of our hearts . I said I loved him for many years but I didn’t , I was only fooling myself . It’s time to wash brothers and sisters . It’s time to clean our garments. It’s time to die - and walk in the spirit of Christ which dwells in us . Be blessed I pray my testimony will helps others who are in need of truth . The truth sets us free .. 50 years ago on September 12 1972 I gave my life to Jesus, I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour. I was 18 years old. I want to thank the Lord for his amazing grace, his unconditional love and his faithfulness into my life during all these years. As Dr. David Jeremiah said in one of his sermon: "In the past I have been saved from the penalty of sin. In the present I am being saved from the power of sin. In the future I will be saved from the presence of sin. " Amen ! We are living at the end of the end time. Jesus is coming to rapture the church anytime. We born again Christians are going to be taken with Jesus before the tribulation. Amen ! Come Jesus come !

i am watching this some months since you preached this. i am in Melbourne where we have an oppressive dictator and a cruel police force and where the injection is going to be made mandatory for many health workers and others who need the work to provide for their families and it appears no jab no job will become law. internment camps are prepared, and we wonder "How long o Lord". Really, I wrote this just by way of comment, trusting God who does all things well. It's hard to think that the New Jerusalem has a size; 20 billion is a lot of people but there's a lot of believers since the beginning of time. But maybe not as many as we think since Jesus says "there will be few that find the narrow way". Big things to think about!
I have heard that there is only about 3% of the people in the USA to-day saved. But outside the USA the percentage would be a lot lower depending on what part of the world. This is only an intelligent guess but in my recokoning that would be about right but remember Christ is our judge and nothing is hid from Christ. His judgement will decide the final number. Man has been going for about 6,000 years but the population of the world has only really exploded in the last 150 years or so. I am sure we can all fit in rather comfortably.

I love Pastor Skip. Sat under his ministry for over 20 years. I used to believe in his pre-trib view of the rapture popularized by John Darby until I actually did a thorough study of the doctrine from scripture. I now see that it is an easy thing to refute all of the contrasts John Darby (and Skip) makes between the "supposed" 2 phase coming of Christ. However, let me point out that the entire doctrine of a pre-tribulation rapture rests on the "doctrine" of immanency, which says Christ could come at any moment w/o anything else having to happen before he raptures us. For if there is anything that must happen first, then Jesus can't return until that happens. The disciples asked Jesus what would be the sign of his coming and the end of the age. Jesus laid out many things which must happen before his return. One of those things is the rise of the Antichrist. He explained to them that he would return after the great tribulation (Matt 24:21 & 29) and that he would gather the elect (notice in the clouds in verse 30) from the ends of the earth (Mark 13:27) to the ends of the heavens. There is not a single verse of scripture that states the rapture happening before these events. Most passages referring to Jesus' second coming/return to earth speak of him coming in the clouds. (Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Rev 1) Yet we are expected to believe that in 1 Thess 4, Jesus comes in the clouds and then makes a U turn and goes back to heaven. I Thess 4 does not tell us that and there is not a single verse anywhere that states Jesus comes back in the clouds and then returns to heaven without setting up his kingdom and beginning to reign. What the bible does tell us in many passages is that at Christ's second coming, he comes in the clouds. To complicate things further, 1 Thess 4 tells us the dead in Christ will rise first. Revelation 20 informs us that this resurrection occurs after the tribulation at Christ's return. This is the first resurrection. We will not precede the dead rising by being raptured before the tribulation. Ed Hindson and Mark Hitchcock, in their book entitled "CAN WE STILL BELIEVE IN THE RAPTURE?" has this to say about the immanent return of Christ: "...it's true no single verse alone specifically says Jesus is coming to rapture his saints before the seven year tribulation." There is no verse that specifically states the return of Christ is immanent and no verse that specifically states the rapture happens before the tribulation. But there is a verse that tells us specifically when the rapture does occur. 1 Cor 15:52 tells us the rapture happens at the last trumpet. The last trumpet occurs at the return of Christ to the earth in Matt 24:31. This is clearly after the tribulation (verse 29). It was very difficult for me to give up my belief in the pre-trib view but scripture demands it so I accepted it. The choice is really very simple. You can believe John Darby who said Jesus was coming back twice. OR, you can believe Jesus who said he was coming back once at the end of the greatest tribulation the world has ever seen. Let me leave you with one parting thought. I personally believe that all those who teach a pre-trib rapture will be contributing to the great falling away before Christ's return. Can you imagine what people will think when they find themselves in the tribulation and facing the beast and taking his mark? They will feel betrayed by all those preachers that told them all their lives that they would not be here for that. They will not know what to believe. If you want to keep believing in a pre-trib rapture, please prepare yourself mentally and spiritually for the possibility that you may go through the tribulation and determine in your mind that you will endure to the end! Jesus said that if you endure to the end, you will be saved. God bless you all.

I fear for you that you will be eternally lost because of what the Apostle Paul has written in Galatians 1:6-8. You are teaching two different gospels. Paul says that those who do so should be eternally condemned (NIV-1984), under God's curse (NIV-current), "let him be accursed" (ESV and KJV), "let him be condemned to hell" (NET), etc It appears you are of the dispensationalist viewpoint. In your reply, you have tried to separate Jew and Gentile into two distinct groups, even having two different ways to get saved. I would humbly encourage you to prayerfully read and study Ephesians 2:11 through 3:12. Paul lays out very clearly that the Gentiles are now included with the Jews in the church. Paul preached "his" gospel to both Jew and Gentile alike. Peter preached the same gospel as Paul (the death burial and resurrection of Jesus). See Acts 2 and Acts 10:34-43. Part of your dispensational beliefs include the pre-trib rapture. I would again encourage you to study the scriptures and reject the teachings of John Darby and accept the teachings of Jesus Christ. You actually think that 2 Tim is telling you to "divide" the word. It does not. It means to accurately understand and/or teach the Word. Here is what Vines Greek Expository dictionary has to say about orthotomeo, "What is intended here is not dividing Scripture from Scripture, but teaching Scripture accurately." Apparently you did not bother to read Eph 2 and 3. Until you rightly understand (for you, divide) Ephesians, you will continue on with your dividing things up. John13:1-6, The reality that these versus are describing is the Second Coming of CHRIST JESUS, not the secret pre-great tribulation rapture... This secret pre-great tribulation rapture is not Biblical but a theoretical heresy!
The Tribulation and the Wrath of God are the same thing...and the Wrath of God and "the Day of The Lord" found in the O.T. are the same thing. The Tribulation is for those who are Christ rejectors, and early in ch 6 of Revelation you can see that even the Christ rejectors hiding in caves and holes in the earth cry out "It is the day of the Wrath of the Lamb...and who can stand?" So even they know that the seven year period of the Tribulation is the Wrath of God on them.

In verse 23 he claims to have told the disciples everything (not some of it or most of it) and yet did not mention a pre-tribulation rapture. Did Jesus lie or do people just want their ears tickled by the idea of avoiding discomfort? Also, Holy Spirit speaks only what the Father says. Jesus only spoke what the Father said. If the spirit in you conflicts with what Jesus said about the matter then the spirit is not of God.

We are not appointed to the wrath of God which will be poured out on an unbelieving world for the last 7 years . When people do not know that we will be taken in the pre trib rapture they connect the 2 Nd coming to the rapture. If you do not believe that this is true then you have to deal with contradictions and God word does not have contradictions. The rapture the lord comes the 2 Nd coming he sends his angles to gather the saints. When Paul talked about the rapture he always said we when he talked about the great trib he always said they because he knew he would not be here for that. Who populates the world during the 1000 year reign? It is the saints who make it through the tribulation not the church who has already been taken and changed into glorified bodies they do not procreate.

Alive meaning those who have accepted Jesus as the saviour, asleep are the non believers. When believers dies God descends to get their souls. Those who already died in Christ before us will rise, us the new comers we then get caught up with them in heaven .

I've been seeing alot of things lately regarding the denial of the clear Biblical teaching of the "Harpazo" or "Rapture of the church". I believe that it is not only Biblical but it is coming very soon. Most of the things I am seeing are supporting a post-trib rapture (or a gathering together of believers at The Second Coming). There are many reasons not to believe in a post-tribulation rapture. Here are 2 main reasons that it makes no sense to me. By the way, this is certainly not to cause any arguments as we are certainly not to be arguing over such things. My goal is to show that the rapture is "eminent", meaning that nothing else needs to happen before the first part of Christ's return could occur. The time to come to Jesus is now. TODAY is the day of salvation. You do NOT want to be here when the tribulation starts! FIRST, in Revelation 13:17 it states that the Antichrist was given power to make war with the saints & to overcome them. It does not refer to them as "the church". Why? Because the church age by then is over & the church has been raptured. In fact, Revelation is written chronologically, and after the first few chapters where the churches are mentioned, we get into the tribulation period & the church is never mentioned again. These "saints" are tribulation saints, those who accept Christ during the Tribulation. We know that there will be many, and the the entire nation of Israel will turn to Christ under the ministry of the 2 witnesses (probably Elijah & Enoch) and the 144,000 Jewish evangelists. In contrast, at Cesaerea Phillippi, at the base of Mount Hermon (where the Watchers descended to increase EVIL on earth & a Grotto to Pan was thought to actually be "the Gates of Hell), Christ said that he would build his church & that the Gates of hell would NOT prevail against it. So, if it were to say in Revelation that power was given to the Antichrist to make war with the "church" and overcome it, it would NOT coincide with Christ's statement. This is why "saints" is used. SECONDLY, even those who say they do not believe in the pre-tribulation rapture will agree that we will be caught up with Christ at his "Second Coming". They believe that Christ's second coming will happen all in one phase instead of two phases (the rapture, then the second coming). I will cover 2 reasons why this makes no sense. First, why would we be caught up with Christ in the air (the 1 Thessalonians 4 passage) while He is on His way back down here to earth to destroy The Antichrist & all His enemies at The Battle of Armageddon? We would be caught up in the twinkling of an eye just to be brought straight back down to earth?? It makes no sense. I believe that we will be raptured 7 years before, and we'll be having the Judgement Seat of Christ & The Marriage Supper of the Lamb during this time (the time between the rapture & the Second Coming), and we will also be fitted as warriors in the Army of Heaven & ride down to the Battle of Armageddon with our Saviour! Second, and this is UNDENIABLE - the Bible is clear that NO MAN KNOWS the day or the hour of His return!! According to the prophecy of the 70 weeks of Daniel, the Antichrist will make or uphold a 7-year treaty with Israel then break it halfway through. The prior 483 years of Daniel's prophecy were perfectly kept, just like EVERY PROPHECY in the Bible. So the last year of weeks will also be kept perfectly. By the time the Antichrist is revealed, makes the treaty & breaks it, & all the other prophecies are happening (the Seal judgements, the Trumpet judgements, the Bowl judgements), it will be VERY CLEAR when the rapture/Second coming would happen (EXACTLY 7 years from when that treaty is made or signed). This will CLEARLY violate the promise of Scripture, because then EVERYONE would be able to determine the EXACT DAY AND the EXACT HOUR of Christ's return!! So the rapture at Christ's Second Coming clearly makes no sense!! It would VIOLATE Christ's promise!! So the fact that the rapture will happen before this, and that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is in 2 phases is really undeniable. This does in fact still leave open the possibility of a mid-trib rapture. I do not believe it is as likely as a pre-trib rapture but it is possible. The scripture often used to support that the church is not appointed unto wrath is 1 Thess. 5:9. If this means that the believing church will not see the judgement of God's wrath on the earth, then you would have to believe that the first sets of judgements are NOT God's wrath in order to believe in a mid-trib rapture, which is possible but very hard to swallow. This is based on the idea that the "Last Trump" is the final trumpet judgement which opens up the bowl judgements, pouring out God's wrath upon the earth. I urge you to watch the video by J.D. Farag (Pre Tribulation Rapture Proofs) for some more awesome information regarding this & why he also does not believe why this is the case and why he does not believe in a mid-trib rapture. VERY GOOD INFORMATION!! ALL the scriptures written about enduring to the end can easily be regarded as being written to those who will be converted during the tribulation period, especially Mathew 24 (which refers to the Abomination of Desolation which happens DURING the tribulation & signals the time that Jesus is referencing in this part of the chapter), and is directed especially to Israel. This is the time of "Jacob's Trouble", and the time when all of Israel will turn to Christ as their Messiah. Others will certainly be saved, but Israel will be the focus of this time.

Hi pastor Skip, you left out a big step in the Jewish wedding traditions. At the time when the Groom comes to the daughter's father's house, he pays a dowry, then he takes a mikvah to seal his covenant to the bride, then she takes a mikvah in his name, and they share a glass of wine together, now they're betrothed. Then he goes back to his father's house to build a few rooms onto it, so that when the father sees that those rooms are suitable for them to dwell in, He commands His Son to go and get your wife. Then the ceremony commences, and they go into the chuppah to consummate the marriage. And that is followed by a feast that traditionally lasts for seven days.
The groom says "I will not drink of this vine again until you are with me at my father's house." What did Jesus tell His disciples at the last supper? How exciting!

The word of God is clear about the second coming of Jesus. The world is in denial of the truth of the gospel. If you don't want to be left behind in the rapture you must repent of sin, accept Jesus as your Lord He paid with his precious blood on the cross. You must open your eyes of faith walk in the power of The Holy Spirit. Thank you Pastor for speaking truth!
We must not add anything to the cross and that includes the rapture. Jesus said believe in Me and you will be saved. Not once did I hear Him say, believe also in the rapture. Come to think of it, He did say in John 16:33...'in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.' Don't worry about dying. He has already conquered death.

Thank you so much for this! I needed to hear this in the best way. I've been praying for confirmation from Jesus and this is it. His answers are so clear and undeniable. When I was saved in 2013 one of the first things I did was pray for sight and discernment and boy was it granted! The scales were removed with a quickness.. but the enemy knew this and has worked overtime to keep me from God's promise. I can appreciate what you're saying. I too did that when first saved years ago. It's been incredible to see how God has answered my prayers for that through the years. Exciting.
May I suggest that you read Proverbs regularly. Don't neglect the rest of Scripture but make sure you read Proverbs frequently.
Keep seeking Him. Keep reading and memorizing Scripture. That will get you through rough times. God's grace and peace to you.

People are already in great tribulations- many people are and they are dying in judgments. I was on my death bed a couple of years ago ( in judgment, in darkness in spirit) so much pain and sorrows. I was in my great tribulations and guess what ? I was a church goer , I was paying tidings and doing good works , I looked good on the outside but I was so dead on the inside ( spirit darkness and blindness ) . I knew I was being judged . I knew if I didn’t fully lay the world down and die in the flesh I was going to parish . I went before the lord with all I had and started giving him my whole heart . I’m still washing myself today baptizing myself in his spirit, clothing myself in righteousness. It’s very hard and painful . It’s so hard letting this foolish world go , it’s so hard letting go the love of this world and the things in it . We have to hang on the cross like Christ did . Let us die now ! Let us truly love God with all of our hearts . I said I loved him for many years but I didn’t , I was only fooling myself . It’s time to wash brothers and sisters . It’s time to clean our garments. It’s time to die - and walk in the spirit of Christ which dwells in us . Be blessed I pray my testimony will helps others who are in need of truth . The truth sets us free .. 50 years ago on September 12 1972 I gave my life to Jesus, I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour. I was 18 years old. I want to thank the Lord for his amazing grace, his unconditional love and his faithfulness into my life during all these years. As Dr. David Jeremiah said in one of his sermon: "In the past I have been saved from the penalty of sin. In the present I am being saved from the power of sin. It's hard to think that the New Jerusalem has a size; 20 billion is a lot of people but there's a lot of believers since the beginning of time. But maybe not as many as we think since Jesus says "there will be few that find the narrow way". Big things to think about!
I have heard that there is only about 3% of the people in the USA to-day saved. But outside the USA the percentage would be a lot lower depending on what part of the world. This is only an intelligent guess but in my recokoning that would be about right but remember Christ is our judge and nothing is hid from Christ. His judgement will decide the final number. Man has been going for about 6,000 years but the population of the world has only really exploded in the last 150 years or so. I am sure we can all fit in rather comfortably.

I love Pastor Skip. Sat under his ministry for over 20 years. I used to believe in his pre-trib view of the rapture popularized by John Darby until I actually did a thorough study of the doctrine from scripture. I now see that it is an easy thing to refute all of the contrasts John Darby (and Skip) makes between the "supposed" 2 phase coming of Christ. However, let me point out that the entire doctrine of a pre-tribulation rapture rests on the "doctrine" of immanency, which says Christ could come at any moment w/o anything else having to happen before he raptures us. For if there is anything that must happen first, then Jesus can't return until that happens. The disciples asked Jesus what would be the sign of his coming and the end of the age. Jesus laid out many things which must happen before his return. One of those things is the rise of the Antichrist. He explained to them that he would return after the great tribulation (Matt 24:21 & 29) and that he would gather the elect (notice in the clouds in verse 30) from the ends of the earth (Mark 13:27) to the ends of the heavens. There is not a single verse of scripture that states the rapture happening before these events. Most passages referring to Jesus' second coming/return to earth speak of him coming in the clouds. (Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Rev 1) Yet we are expected to believe that in 1 Thess 4, Jesus comes in the clouds and then makes a U turn and goes back to heaven. I Thess 4 does not tell us that and there is not a single verse anywhere that states Jesus comes back in the clouds and then returns to heaven without setting up his kingdom and beginning to reign. What the bible does tell us in many passages is that at Christ's second coming, he comes in the clouds.
To complicate things further, 1 Thess 4 tells us the dead in Christ will rise first. Revelation 20 informs us that this resurrection occurs after the tribulation at Christ's return. This is the first resurrection. We will not precede the dead rising by being raptured before the tribulation.
Ed Hindson and Mark Hitchcock, in their book entitled "CAN WE STILL BELIEVE IN THE RAPTURE?" has this to say about the immanent return of Christ: "...it's true no single verse alone specifically says Jesus is coming to rapture his saints before the seven year tribulation."
There is no verse that specifically states the return of Christ is immanent and no verse that specifically states the rapture happens before the tribulation. But there is a verse that tells us specifically when the rapture does occur. 1 Cor 15:52 tells us the rapture happens at the last trumpet. The last trumpet occurs at the return of Christ to the earth in Matt 24:31. This is clearly after the tribulation (verse 29).
It was very difficult for me to give up my belief in the pre-trib view but scripture demands it so I accepted it. The choice is really very simple. You can believe John Darby who said Jesus was coming back twice. OR, you can believe Jesus who said he was coming back once at the end of the greatest tribulation the world has ever seen.
Let me leave you with one parting thought. I personally believe that all those who teach a pre-trib rapture will be contributing to the great falling away before Christ's return. Can you imagine what people will think when they find themselves in the tribulation and facing the beast and taking his mark? They will feel betrayed by all those preachers that told them all their lives that they would not be here for that. They will not know what to believe. If you want to keep believing in a pre-trib rapture, please prepare yourself mentally and spiritually for the possibility that you may go through the tribulation and determine in your mind that you will endure to the end! Jesus said that if you endure to the end, you will be saved. God bless you all.

I fear for you that you will be eternally lost because of what the Apostle Paul has written in Galatians 1:6-8. You are teaching two different gospels. Paul says that those who do so should be eternally condemned (NIV-1984), under God's curse (NIV-current), "let him be accursed" (ESV and KJV), "let him be condemned to hell" (NET), etc
It appears you are of the dispensationalist viewpoint. In your reply, you have tried to separate Jew and Gentile into two distinct groups, even having two different ways to get saved. I would humbly encourage you to prayerfully read and study Ephesians 2:11 through 3:12. Paul lays out very clearly that the Gentiles are now included with the Jews in the church. Paul preached "his" gospel to both Jew and Gentile alike. Peter preached the same gospel as Paul (the death burial and resurrection of Jesus). See Acts 2 and Acts 10:34-43.
Part of your dispensational beliefs include the pre-trib rapture. I would again encourage you to study the scriptures and reject the teachings of John Darby and accept the teachings of Jesus Christ. You actually think that 2 Tim is telling you to "divide" the word. It does not. It means to accurately understand and/or teach the Word. Here is what Vines Greek Expository dictionary has to say about orthotomeo, "What is intended here is not dividing Scripture from Scripture, but teaching Scripture accurately."

The Tribulation and the Wrath of God are the same thing...and the Wrath of God and "the Day of The Lord" found in the O.T. are the same thing. The Tribulation is for those who are Christ rejectors, and early in ch 6 of Revelation you can see that even the Christ rejectors hiding in caves and holes in the earth cry out "It is the day of the Wrath of the Lamb...and who can stand?" So even they know that the seven year period of the Tribulation is the Wrath of God on them.

In verse 23 he claims to have told the disciples everything (not some of it or most of it) and yet did not mention a pre-tribulation rapture.

Also, Holy Spirit speaks only what the Father says. Jesus only spoke what the Father said. If the spirit in you conflicts with what Jesus said about the matter then the spirit is not of God.

We are not appointed to the wrath of God which will be poured out on an unbelieving world for the last 7 years . When people do not know that we will be taken in the pre trib rapture they connect the 2 Nd coming to the rapture. If you do not believe that this is true then you have to deal with contradictions and God word does not have contradictions. Alive meaning those who have accepted Jesus as the saviour, asleep are the non believers. When believers dies God descends to get their souls. Those who already died in Christ before us will rise, us the new comers we then get caught up with them in heaven .

I've been seeing alot of things lately regarding the denial of the clear Biblical teaching of the "Harpazo" or "Rapture of the church". I believe that it is not only Biblical but it is coming very soon. Most of the things I am seeing are supporting a post-trib rapture (or a gathering together of believers at The Second Coming). There are many reasons not to believe in a post-tribulation rapture. Here are 2 main reasons that it makes no sense to me.
By the way, this is certainly not to cause any arguments as we are certainly not to be arguing over such things. My goal is to show that the rapture is "eminent", meaning that nothing else needs to happen before the first part of Christ's return could occur. The time to come to Jesus is now. TODAY is the day of salvation. You do NOT want to be here when the tribulation starts!
FIRST, in Revelation 13:17 it states that the Antichrist was given power to make war with the saints & to overcome them. It does not refer to them as "the church". Why? Because the church age by then is over & the church has been raptured. In fact, Revelation is written chronologically, and after the first few chapters where the churches are mentioned, we get into the tribulation period & the church is never mentioned again. These "saints" are tribulation saints, those who accept Christ during the Tribulation. We know that there will be many, and the the entire nation of Israel will turn to Christ under the ministry of the 2 witnesses (probably Elijah & Enoch) and the 144,000 Jewish evangelists. In contrast, at Cesaerea Phillippi, at the base of Mount Hermon (where the Watchers descended to increase EVIL on earth & a Grotto to Pan was thought to actually be "the Gates of Hell), Christ said that he would build his church & that the Gates of hell would NOT prevail against it. So, if it were to say in Revelation that power was given to the Antichrist to make war with the "church" and overcome it, it would NOT coincide with Christ's statement. This is why "saints" is used.
SECONDLY, even those who say they do not believe in the pre-tribulation rapture will agree that we will be caught up with Christ at his "Second Coming". They believe that Christ's second coming will happen all in one phase instead of two phases (the rapture, then the second coming). I will cover 2 reasons why this makes no sense.
First, why would we be caught up with Christ in the air (the 1 Thessalonians 4 passage) while He is on His way back down here to earth to destroy The Antichrist & all His enemies at The Battle of Armageddon? We would be caught up in the twinkling of an eye just to be brought straight back down to earth?? It makes no sense. I believe that we will be raptured 7 years before, and we'll be having the Judgement Seat of Christ & The Marriage Supper of the Lamb during this time (the time between the rapture & the Second Coming), and we will also be fitted as warriors in the Army of Heaven & ride down to the Battle of Armageddon with our Saviour!
Second, and this is UNDENIABLE - the Bible is clear that NO MAN KNOWS the day or the hour of His return!! According to the prophecy of the 70 weeks of Daniel, the Antichrist will make or uphold a 7-year treaty with Israel then break it halfway through. The prior 483 years of Daniel's prophecy were perfectly kept, just like EVERY PROPHECY in the Bible. So the last year of weeks will also be kept perfectly. By the time the Antichrist is revealed, makes the treaty & breaks it, & all the other prophecies are happening (the Seal judgements, the Trumpet judgements, the Bowl judgements), it will be VERY CLEAR when the rapture/Second coming would happen (EXACTLY 7 years from when that treaty is made or signed). This will CLEARLY violate the promise of Scripture, because then EVERYONE would be able to determine the EXACT DAY AND the EXACT HOUR of Christ's return!! So the rapture at Christ's Second Coming clearly makes no sense!! It would VIOLATE Christ's promise!!
So the fact that the rapture will happen before this, and that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is in 2 phases is really undeniable.
This does in fact still leave open the possibility of a mid-trib rapture. I do not believe it is as likely as a pre-trib rapture but it is possible. The scripture often used to support that the church is not appointed unto wrath is 1 Thess. 5:9. If this means that the believing church will not see the judgement of God's wrath on the earth, then you would have to believe that the first sets of judgements are NOT God's wrath in order to believe in a mid-trib rapture, which is possible but very hard to swallow. This is based on the idea that the "Last Trump" is the final trumpet judgement which opens up the bowl judgements, pouring out God's wrath upon the earth. I urge you to watch the video by J.D. ALL the scriptures written about enduring to the end can easily be regarded as being written to those who will be converted during the tribulation period, especially Mathew 24 (which refers to the Abomination of Desolation which happens DURING the tribulation & signals the time that Jesus is referencing in this part of the chapter), and is directed especially to Israel. This is the time of "Jacob's Trouble", and the time when all of Israel will turn to Christ as their Messiah. Others will certainly be saved, but Israel will be the focus of this time.

Hi pastor Skip, you left out a big step in the Jewish wedding traditions. At the time when the Groom comes to the daughter's father's house, he pays a dowry, then he takes a mikvah to seal his covenant to the bride, then she takes a mikvah in his name, and they share a glass of wine together, now they're betrothed. Then he goes back to his father's house to build a few rooms onto it, so that when the father sees that those rooms are suitable for them to dwell in, He commands His Son to go and get your wife. Then the ceremony commences, and they go into the chuppah to consummate the marriage. And that is followed by a feast that traditionally lasts for seven days.
The groom says "I will not drink of this vine again until you are with me at my father's house." What did Jesus tell His disciples at the last supper? How exciting!

The word of God is clear about the second coming of Jesus. The world is in denial of the truth of the gospel. If you don't want to be left behind in the rapture you must repent of sin, accept Jesus as your Lord He paid with his precious blood on the cross. You must open your eyes of faith walk in the power of The Holy Spirit. Thank you Pastor for speaking truth!
We must not add anything to the cross and that includes the rapture. Jesus said believe in Me and you will be saved. Not once did I hear Him say, believe also in the rapture. Come to think of it, He did say in John 16:33...'in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.' Don't worry about dying. He has already conquered death.
Repent means to go from unbelief to belief in Christ stop teaching people works salvation. Nobody has turned from sin everyone sins including you what is wrong with you people. Humble yourself and stop being pharisees.

This is one of the best presentations on the Rapture that I've heard. I've studied this doctrine for years through men like Pastor Chuck Smith, John MacArthur, Tony Evans, etc. But you did it in a concise, understandable way with a couple of twists I hadn't heard or thought of before. Why? The is the weakest presentation in support of the pre tribulation rapture, which is a fraud!v Heres is ''evidence''.
John 14:3: ''if I go and prepare a place for you, I will COME BACK AND TAKE YOU to be with me''. Excuse me? Thats proof of
a fraudulent pre mid tribulation rapture? That says nothing of the sorts. It simply says...I'll come back and get you...PERIOD. You can't even start here to support this ''pease and safety' false doctrine. I assume this guy is a dispensationalist. Meaning, we only follow a select number of Pauls writings. Once I pointed to a text from the book of James....the pre tribulation dispensationalist response? ''Oh, that was not address to the church but rather to ''twelve tribes which are scattered abroad'' we follow Paul. Well using that logic here with John 14 we have to agree....the promise of was for the disciples not us. Right? Thats the way dispensationalism works and it, like the pre trib rapture is a fraud. Its mean to deceive. But the proof is in the pudding. The rapture has not happened ..not in the past...today or the future.
