Ice cube was the truth some ppl think he sold out. Naw he didn't though. Rap had changed up on him and he just started doing movies. All his old stuff is too real for the youngins today. Y'all know nothing about this, y'all use to ppl just saying some nursery rhymes on a mic. Back in the day a lot of these ppl today would not have been accepted it was not easy to be a rapper back in the 90s. You had to prove yourself now listen to Ice Cube he is telling you what was really good.

+missmeonbs What you said is so true about kids today and I'm 15 years old. Kids these days are so blind all they think rap is about is money, cars, and girls. When I tell kids at school and even my siblings that I listen to old school hip-hop, rap they give me a funny ass look, call me lame, or just don't really get a vibe to it. It's all right though, because I know I'm listening to REAL music not fake trash.

+DJ Rod B ...and this is no accident. It was a DELIBERATE move by the powers that be in the entertainment industry which owned the rap labels to transform this music from the socially conscious, positive, self-empowering medium of the 1980s thru the early 1990s to.............(*Sigh*).....what it is today. And it's all about money. Period. And the "reenslavement," if you will, of young Black and Hispanic "aspiring rappers" of today in countless state and--especially--privately-run prisons on BS drug & other charges across the nation in order to make a profit from filling as many prison-cell beds as possible.
