more stuff about my oc leopardmask! he was bullied very harshly as a kit, by everyone in the clan including his adopted siblings. the one cat who seemed to enjoy being around him was the medicine cat, whitebelly. one day when the two were gathering herbs, however, they were attacked by a badger and whitebelly was killed keeping leopard safe. the current deputy of the clan, echofrost, was whitebelly's sister and refused to let leopard anywhere near his mentor's body to properly mourn her. that was when he decided windclan needed to pay for how they treated him all his life.
shortly after, he finds himself in the dark forest in his dreams. he's attacked by foxspirit, the father of his adopted siblings (who landed in the DF because he was banished from his clan for having a crossclan relationship, more on that a different time) and despite him being much smaller than fox, leopard manages to throw him off of him. this impresses fox, so he offers to train leopard and help him get the revenge he seeks on his clanmates. later, leopard is with his boo sablewish and happily confesses to being the cause of death for multiple of his clanmates, and even tells him of his plan to kill both the deputy and leader so that he can take control of the clan itself, and kill off everyone else even faster than he could've before. sable is horrified by this, and the night of leopard's plan, he makes his way to the moonstone to try and stop him before it's too late. by the time he arrives, leopard already has his claws up in the air, about to swing down to kill the sleeping deputy awaiting their nine lives. sable makes a split second decision and leaps into action, killing leopardmask before he can do and further damage to the clans he calls home.
