I was 10 when this song came out and I wasn't really aware of what it actually was. Now 4 years later listening to this I cry every time because I got its message.
She would have fit nicely in the early 90s. Some may disagree with this but her voice during the chorus reminds me of legends of 80s and 90s like Annie Lennox (dunno the ither twos names but that era of Pop music). Just a tad more soulful. I hear Christina Aguilera too. That 90s Pop voice. She is definitely unique and a breath of fresh air.

She would have fit nicely in the early 90s. Some may disagree with this but her voice during the chorus reminds me of legends of 80s and 90s like Annie Lennox (dunno the ither twos names but that era of Pop music). Just a tad more soulful.
I hear Christina Aguilera too. That 90s Pop voice. She is definitely unique and a breath of fresh air.
