YC “Ocean Ave” was the first CD I ever bought that really meant something to me... I played that CD until it physically wouldn’t play anymore, and I went out and bought another... Fast forward years later, I had the opportunity to see you guys play in Jacksonville that final tour, and being the only time I ever got to see YC, it felt like the proper way to do it as a fan, knowing it was the band’s hometown. Felt like a proper send off to you guys too. Looking forward to seeing what’s coming.
You are such an inspiration to me. Honestly, I'm going through a really rough time right now.. but everything you just said it's like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Fear, acceptance, excitement. I'm happy you're releasing these videos, thank you.
Thank you for once again being open and honest about your journey; this time, your journey of acceptance of the end of Yellowcard. Though I still hope to hear "Paper Walls" live, I hope the day comes where fans at shows sing along to your new songs more than they do YC ones. I attended the final stop in Detroit and it is one moment that I will remember for the rest of my life.
Thanks for being able to give us a proper Yellowcard goodbye. I was at the NJ one and I will forever cherish that magical moment were we all just screamed for so long.
Thanks for including my wife and I in your video! What an incredible show this was. Glad we had the opportunity to meet you in person as well. Can’t wait to hear what you come up with next.
Ryan you are such a great guy! You helped me with your music through dark times! You played the most awesome and intime concerts I have ever been to! I met so many great people during your shows. Some became awesome friends of mine. I will always listen to your music and will travel hundreds of miles just to listen to you! Because its worth it! Looking forward to seeing you in Germany again! Hope you are doing well!
This one is specially is such an inspiration, I'm so glad you didn't just fade away like so many other musicians, I'm glad you decided to continue the music path. You've really found your home where you are, found where you belong as an individual. Sometimes it just takes looking at where the road leads instead of what you left behind, and the path ahead leads to so many beautiful places. Keep rocking, dude!
When one door closes another opens. And in this case something incredibly beautiful was on the other side. Love you and will follow you wherever you go ❤️
Yellowcard ended after When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes came out in 2011. Seriously, the band lost its character after that album. It was great, but not the same Yellowcard that was loved for so many years.
Vladimir Markiev We actually released 4 more albums after that and toured constantly all over the world so I’m afraid your statement is factually incorrect. Seriously. Thanks for sharing your opinion though. Really insightful stuff.
@@WilliamRyanKey Sorry Ryan, nothing personal. I knew everything you just said. What I wanted to say that music after 2011 became different from what Yellocard used to be before that time. Less energy. To my mind, it was no surprise that the band eventually became no more because the tendency could be seen. I know that the reasons for the end of Yellowcard were very different and much deeper than I'm aware, but that's only my opinion. Sorry if I insulted you. You're a great person and I respect what you do.
