Super useful, just finished taking my p30lite apart ! One note to others, use heat to take out the volume and power strip. It's easier to take it out once the glue is melted otherwise is impossible
Did you buy the lcd with frame? Because I have breathing crystal version and they dont sell those lcd frames. Was wondering if I can just buy the lcd or if thats too much of a hassle.

Hi... the 24 MP camera is recognized if I connect it to a motherboard removed from a 48 MP⁉️I wrong to buy the right display and now the 48 MP does not fit, I should fall back by mounting the 24 MP, if it is recognized, thank you.
My simcard/sdcard slot broke when I tried to take it out...so I have to do all of this? :(

My huawei p30 lite can no longer watch videos or play on the horizontal screen. Because it just rotates by itself and a black screen appears in small frames, very fast and leaves in a matter of milliseconds. What can I do with this? Can you help me?

Hi, thank you for the teardown. I am trying to replace my screen+frame, but realized my old camera module does not fit into the new frame. Are there 2 different frames for the 4GB and 6GB version? Is the one in the video the 4GB RAM version? Thanks!
Did you find a fix for this? I'm having the same problem, that the back cover isn't closing properly around the camera. But I believe it's due to me not fitting the motherboard properly
@@AlexGoMAD @Charles Thomsen the difference comes from the camera module itself, as the 24MP and 48MP models have different modules so different frames
How much is it to replace the screen?!
Why do you put those gloves on? Also you removed components that you didn't need to if you're replacing the screen. Holy shit, you even removed the damn bottom board and the vibrator? WTF man.
My favourite part in this video is when they don't indicate where I have to apply heat.

Hello. My phone is the Huawei P30 (ele-l29). I replaced the broken LCD. However bluetooth and Wifi, stopped working. The wifi only works if it is very close, and the bluetooth does not work. Do you fix this? I'm from Brazil, and I would send my phone to you by box!

Thnx alot, my phone was submerged in salty water in the top part for like 2 hours.., crossing fingers just dismantled and dipped in rice.., will be opening it tomorrow..

You should peel the top and bottom part adhesive tape before lifting the battery
Wondering what temperature of the heat gun? How much seconds needed? Also do you need a glue to put it all back. Great video. Will wait for your reply..
Just warm it up a little it wont do damage on this and it doesnt need to be very hot to come off its just glue. (Reflowing a motherboard is different)
i dropped my phone in water accidently and now the screen has lines on it and the ' huwei' title is appearing multi coloured. it also keeps vibrating once after every 30 seconds. what should i do?
Javaria Aslam, you need to look for an technical service in your area so that they perform an ultrasonic cleaning to your device and try to recover it. but until then you need to TURN IT OFF and not turn on in any case! Wish you good luck!

Hi, dropped my phone in water. Battery stopped working, exchanged that. Then completely turned itself off, once I put it on charge. Exchanged the charging dock. Now it still turns itself off and not on again, once I insert the charging cable. When I unplug I can turn it on regularly. Any ideas what problem I could be dealing with here and what component to exchange next? Thanks.
You need to perform an ultrasonic cleaning first of all!
