Van Gogh is my absolute favourite artist. I never believed he was mad. Just very misunderstood. His work is filled with passion and emotion and pain and beauty. It’s like looking through the window to his soul. An absolutely incredible man and talented artist. His art is even more unbelievably stunning in person.
I'm currently in an internship at the theatre and one of the lighting engineers told me that van Gogh may have painted his pictures within a few hours but he put an incredible amount of planning into them.
This is perfect. A great artist, soft page turning, a colored fabric background for calm visual appeal and your amazing voice. Please do a series of these. Vermeer maybe??
This was lovely thank you for guiding us through that. I never look at art but you make me notice things more and it’s interesting to see how you interpret the pieces. And it’s very relaxing ❤. Keep them coming thank you 😊
@@SRPASMRand it is now my short term goal to convince you to do more of it lolol Honestly this was lovely. Art & ASMR & your voice/cadence/skills is a dreamy combination, in both ways of the word lol
This format is fan-tas-tic. I LOVE this. I am looking forward to more of your videos involving *classical art* in the future. And the genius of connecting Van Gogh's story to ophthalmology... 🤯 Pure genius. 🤓🎨🖼️
I visited the van gogh exhibtion in london with my girlfriend, im not into art but she is, have to say, he was a troubled individual but an insanely intelligent and talented artists the worlds ever seen
I just learned that people pronounce Van Gogh differently depending on where they are from. In America we say Van GO. The Dutch pronounce it in a different variation as well.
just a suggestion srp, could you start the live and wait like 2-3 minutes before starting. it’s only because it cuts off a little bit of the video form before.
This video is going to make me Vincent Van Go-to sleep 😴
😂🤣ahhihihii
😑😒
Nice one
Hopefully you drift through the Parisian skies in a sea of swirling blues and greens 😁

Brilliant.
I do like art, just don’t know much about it, or very good at it.
But I can appreciate it.
We can appreciate things together ❤
The gathering reminds me of families getting together for the holidays and other gatherings in general.
I'm so very happy you made this. This evening's pre-sleep watching for sure.
Art in asmr has been a long term goal.
Hope you enjoyed x

Though I wasn’t able to be in the live stream for long at 1:27 when my name was said i was so happy!! Thank you srp!
😊🫶🏼
SRP are you a fan of MC Escher or Salvador Dali? I think they would make great books for you to read.
Is there a reason why you wear your ring on the middle of your right hand, always wondered 😊
The ring was a gift from my nan and it feels most comfortable wearing one on the middle finger
Thank you for sharing this 🙏🏻@@SRPASMR
How fast does a van gogh? I'm all ear...

Yes, it’s a shame others don’t realise this before saying I’m doing it wrong 😆
@ As an idiot American I was intrigued by the way you pronounced it, so went on an Internet sleuthing quest to see why that might be. Huzzah!
S-Art-P
Hey, a good one! 😁
I do wish this channel to feature more S-Art-P content, if our dear host so wishes. 🎨🍷
😆

This only matters if you wanna actively chat, cuz if you dont then who cares, just rewind
I literally waited 2-3 mins
Hello 👋
Ahh so relaxing. 😌
Always glad to hear that 😊
Van Goff? Or van go?
However I feel
Because of the several different pronunciations of his name he very often signed his pieces simply "Vincent"...✌️
Neither. Dutchie here, living close to Vincent's birth place. It's pronounced "vahn Gog".
8 minutes ago😍 this timing is a gift, thank you SRP!
It’s a pleasure
I see you're still pronouncing his name wrong😂
thanks a lot for lovely video 😊 also today is my birthday and i can sleep well as a gift now 😂
Happy birthday!!
@ thanks sir😊
Makes me sad how bad his mental state decreased overtime through his work…
You wouldn’t wish it upon anyone
Got zero notification for this, TH-cam is slacking this week 😢
It’s really annoying
Saw van gogh exhibit in Birmingham a couple of years ago. Very interesting
You’ve inspired me to visit a VG experience in Birmingham
