I want to see more of how to choose a low light color step by step explanation . Like would you choose a low light color just one level darker to what the lifted color is ?
I love to watch all your videos but I would love to see a video on what cut and style suits short thin hair also what products to use to help with volume.
If I had the money, I would fly from the coast of NC to your salon in Utah just to get my hair done blonde by you. I’ve been growing my natural color out for over a year now and I want the already processed part to be a nice pale blonde like this woman’s. It looks so good
I think you are a great professional and I follow and enjoy your work. In this case though the hair look quite damaged and I'd agree with not dragging the bleach onto the ends
Great job. Could you show highlights/lowlights on bob length hair- everyone does long hair .I'm desperately trying to grow mine and need some inspiration.
What color do you use to lowlight and what colors are your best root smudge color for a level 9/8 bleached hair with natural level 6/7 natural root? I used redken shades eq. Or would you use a permanent for roots?
sooooo beautiful!! Can I ask, aside from the bleach of course, for all your colours did you use the Goldwell Colorance demi? even for the toning? if so what developer? xx
Need help my stylist is not great with color. I want a true dark ash blonde. Everytime she does my hair it pulls warm. Frustrated. What is a good formula for base color? I have highlights also and they are warm to it's like she doesn't let it sit long enough. Wish I could add pics of what I want and show you what I ended up with.. Thanks

robert björnesjö i know it can be scary! But i have olaplex in there to protect the hair. She had gold through out that we wanted to kick out and make lighter so i feathered down wherever she had that:)
Do you find the blonde me lighter swells? Idk if its just maybe cause i used a higher volume or maybe the persons head just produced a lot of heat but i found it swelling. Beautiful results btw. 😘
Beautiful outcome! 😍 Hard to find good vids using goldwell. I’m a goldwell girl so I loved learning from this. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, your work is truly amazing girl!
Hey, can you please tell me which color to use for toning yellow hair after making highlights to myself, keune 1517 or keune 7.32 or else color, i just want remove yellow color? My english is not good, i hope you understand me :)
Michael Reid i know it can be scary! But i have olaplex in there to protect the hair. She had gold through out that we wanted to kick out and make lighter so i feathered down wherever she had that:)
I could totally see where your logic is in feathering down your lightener, but in my experience I've never had good luck with overlapping. Even with olaplex. I make it a point in these cases to mix a lower developer lightener to further protect the integrity of the hair. I just personally feel that if you're charging for it, they deserve the extra step. I would have mixed a 20 and 10 vol. One for the new growth and one for the gold still existing in the hair. Considering it takes a lot longer for a level 5 or 6 to hit a level 10 than a level 8 or 9. Everyone has their own way of doing things, but if my clients are being charged an upwards of 200 for their hair, I'm putting in the effort for a second formula. No shade I just figure I'd offer some constructive criticism.
Michael Reid I’ve had no breakage or issues with my clients from just dragging down the lightener on the previous blonde and I care just as much as you do with the money my clients are paying! Everyone’s different but I’ve been watching Jessi for awhile and she foils a full head quick so that may also be her reasoning for sticking with the same formula all around. 😊
Yeah, I definitely take more time doing my foils personally. I only see my clients once every 6 months on average. I just don't know for myself how realistic this color application is. It's a great technique for fast moving stylists, but I just dont do it the same I guess 🤷🏼♂️ different clientele different needs.
Don't listen to the pseudo cosmetologist comments. Your hair coloring is spot on. Definitely could be a hair stylist to celebrities. Keep doing you!

Thanks for the tips! I kinda like that this was a short video. I was able to understand the technique and watch it quick between clients
Taylor Stirewalt thank you! I’m glad!

Traybay Goddard great idea!!

marina emonale her hair wasn’t damaged at all 😂 i did this safely but thank you for the thoughts!
Do you always tone the lowlights when turning a blonde into a dimensional balayage? If so, hownso you know how many of them to tone?
I’m fresh out of school and I love watching your videos!
Abbey Younker thank you!!
Looks so soft and natural 👏great job!
makifly thank you!!
Gorgeous Jessi 😉👍
I love your channel so much, please don’t ever stop making hair vids.
Great job. Could you show highlights/lowlights on bob length hair- everyone does long hair .I'm desperately trying to grow mine and need some inspiration.
Hi. Could you please tell me which lightener/toner you prefer for maximum brightness x thank you
I love it. Can you, please tell me What kind of tonner is it? Thank you😘
What color do you use to lowlight and what colors are your best root smudge color for a level 9/8 bleached hair with natural level 6/7 natural root? I used redken shades eq. Or would you use a permanent for roots?
Do you have to use developper for the lowlights with the 7n 7g?
My base is a level 5 and I want to do a root shadow for balayage and I want to add a few lowlights, what color would you recommend?

How many low light foils did you put in??
That looks so good, nice with just a little dimension👌 but honestly, i get so scared every time u overlap with the lightener over the allready blond 😂
robert björnesjö i agree. it’s not necessary
robert björnesjö i know it can be scary! But i have olaplex in there to protect the hair. She had gold through out that we wanted to kick out and make lighter so i feathered down wherever she had that:)
Aleea Sieben sometimes it is necessary! If done correctly it’s ok:) but i agree not necessary for every client
Jessi - JZ Styles thank u for answering! I know what u mean, but im always worried for overprocessing anyway 🙄
I thought Blonde Me already has bonding agents. You're doing olaplex with it too?
Do you find the blonde me lighter swells? Idk if its just maybe cause i used a higher volume or maybe the persons head just produced a lot of heat but i found it swelling. Beautiful results btw. 😘
Adayva Lavine it doesn’t swell for me! But i always use 20 and one scoop at a time, maybe that’s why!
I will definitely give that a try. Thank you!
Make sure you using the dedicated blonde me developer with it! And mixing ratio guidelines on the tube have helped me! 😊
I am. Im using the dedicated developer with it. Thank you for the advice
My hairdresser somehow thought I wanted platinum blonde T_T. I'm gonna try doing this with my mom's help. Thank you for the good tutorial :)
How I mix and how much for the e shadow root ? And how do I make it not dark ?
If you don’t want to wear your hair down with extensions what updos do you do? And how to cover the wefts if your hair is fine?
Jenna Leigh if the extensions are placed correctly you can wear them up!
Beautiful outcome! 😍 Hard to find good vids using goldwell. I’m a goldwell girl so I loved learning from this. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, your work is truly amazing girl!
Did you put the toner on the low lights too?
How did you section the hair??
Would love to see a video about pricing :)
Wait youre using colorance as a toner??

Lucija 0130 the wella t18 worked really well for me when I went blonde so maybe try that
What did you use for the lowlights?
The 7n 7g are they Demi's?
Kristy Elizabeth yes...colorance from Goldwell is their demi line.
Can I ask why you're overlapping lightener on to hair that's already a level 9 or above?
Michael Reid i know it can be scary! But i have olaplex in there to protect the hair. She had gold through out that we wanted to kick out and make lighter so i feathered down wherever she had that:)
