Big Papa Feldypops really lets loose on this absolute club classic. The way he builds towards the drop was, I believe, a massive influence on some, if not all of the jungle/techstep coming out of the UK in the late 90s. Think Renegade hardware, Trouble on Vinyl, Dread recordings etc. I can hear a lot of Badman Feldy's influence in a lot of Ram Trilogy's early releases too. So sick.
Thanks for posting this!! I forgot how great this piece is. The grains of all his Late Work stuff still sticks in my ears - although all the Late Works are beautiful I consider them to be way more austere than this piece though.
I used 6 filmed details of the Farbtafeln by Sigmar Polke. Each fragmented lasted for about 10 sec. I Then made 50 films of 22 minutes in which "chance" determined the sequence of the fragments. I think i added a white fragment in the sequence. Fades were applied. I then cut a small vertical stripe out of each film and combined the 50 stripes into one film. Added the music.
@@notlookingfornewengland Likely not an exact one-to-one correspondence with the music. It sure fits the sounds. Job well done. I love these soundscapes and visualisations.

@@notlookingfornewengland a method I'm sure Feldman would bless
Brandon Nelson :-) he might recognize the ‘madness’ of shifting little things from here to there and back again
