I live for your reviews! However, I have to say that the whole "waiting until Thursday" thing is beginning to bother me...mostly because I feel you guys should have WAAAAAAY more subscribers and WAAAAAAAY more views. I think the RPDR fan base is so involved and so ramped up after the episodes that they tend to flock to any like-minded reviews/blogs/podcasts/videos they can find. It kills me to see lame reviews by John Polly (no tea, no shade) have views upwards of 150,000. I feel like those should be MovieBitches views! But I have to hand it to him...he has his reviews up within hours of the episode airing. I really think you should reconsider waiting a whole week before posting your review. Please understand...I say this out of LOVE for MovieBitches!
I agree that this channel should have way more views, but it's unfair to compare to the WOW Presents recap schedule. John Polly has the advantage to crank out reviews immediately b/c he has WOW production and editors working on the recap prior to the RPDR episode even airing to the public. Hopefully, with Patreon, Movie Bitches can make this channel more of a focus and not a hobby.

I only watch john polly reviews because he gets it out before I've even seen the episode which either isn't out yet in UK or I didn't realise it's out.
well then we have to band together and throw money at these b!tches :DI don't want them working on anything else but this, like can you imagine if MovieBitches did countdown to the crown, or a dragextravaganza night in between seasons where they give some drag herstory, feed the children a bit more. or something love this page
You're right to an extent. I hope you realise how much effort these reviews actually take though. The editing alone probably takes them a day or two. I personally don't mind waiting until Thursday bc it refreshes the ep before the next one airs, which is cute. Also piggybacking theblankpanther, comparing it to a review show released by the same production company that makes the show is pointless.

Valentina's hair & look was paying homage to a 40's Mexican film star Maria Felix look her up, her look will make more sense :)
OMG NO! Valentina was not giving Sophia Loren, nor Hollywood Glamour. She embodied the only diva there ever was, the one and only María Félix from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema!!!!
Fun Fact: María Félix was in a movie called "La Valentina"
the reason why Nina was paranoid is because in her drag scene in Atlanta, she is ostracized by the other Queens because she doesn't usually do fishy drag and she is out of the box. Because of this it was hard for her to earn a living. So she is always suspicious of other queen's intentions.
I didn't know this, it makes a lot more sense now. Although, even without such a background, being suspicious in a competition like this is just common sense. What she should do is not to be so vocal about it, as that turns her into a target, and roll with the punches as much as possible.

I thought Trinity raided Kimora's closet for the banana lady outfit before she left, that was freaking awful. Someone should have reminded Alexis that it's a competition and it's not the other queens job to tell you that's a shitty outfit, they are trying to send you home. This season seems sanitized , not sure if it's because of VH1 but there is a lot less drama, every time they are getting ready in the work room it turns into some after school special about about some painful subject and even when the hint of any drama comes up it's resolved very quickly and they are best friends again.
I've never been a fan of Meghan Trainer, she has a good voice but her songs are annoying as fuck, I seriously wanted to rip my ears off every time all about the bass came on the radio and for her to come on a show about drag queens and she's wearing a fucking unicorn onesie was unforgivable. Not to mention she really gave nothing as a judge.

Valentina's look was inspired by Mexican legend Maria Felix, that's why her hair is so big, and she even has Maria Felix's Snake Collar, it's just a misunderstood look.
Apparently Matthu Anderson quit during the production of the 2nd episode. I read that he asked for more money and was not given any so he did half of RuPaul's makeup and then walked off set (hence why she looks a bit rougher). Raven and Delta Work are reported to now be doing Ru's makeup.

Marc Brigden There's actually another rumor floating around that Mathu is actually very sick and that he had stopped taking his medication but continued working on the show. He had been having issues showing up to work due to his health and once Ru learned why he was having issues Ru fired him(probably because he wasn't showing up consistently and also overworking him while he's ill is not ideal). I am gonna say it like it is, this show becoming a trainwreck.
The cheers basically a set up, because as Peppermint said, they had 2 days to train and queens get injured but they still roll it. Eureka herself said that she didnt feel really well, and they need to take more than 2 rounds of the cheers.
The sewing challenge is basically a rip off of comedy and sewing challenge. And it's the only moment that comedy queens could shine because well, until now, they dont have any episodes to write their own shit/embodied their own character (the news challenge was so strict, they are not allowed to bring their own props or things like that to improve, according to the T. They need to stick with the script.)
Don't have high expectations for musical or singing challenge, Lucien was not there anymore, and apparently, they don't really have someone as skilled as him to write those shits. People already giving harsh critiques for Ru's new song because it only has beat, not the same 'catchy-ness'.
But this musical tho... oooph. WTH. Todrick, I love you, but you should gave better moves for them. Really, patty cake? And the person that write those verses should be fired. With all that went on in these years with Kardashians, they could write savage funny things. The show was playing safe not to insult the Kardashians because Khloe was a judge. And shame to Meghan, in this show, you pull off onesie? Really?
I am so bitter the only thing that makes me watch the show was so I can get drunk and watch your review.
