Nah. Since you’re on headphones mode, plugging in your actual headphones will still produce sound. Anyways i used the first method and it finally worked but it took sometime so i started doubting it.
Same here, but I didn't turn on airplane mode. Although, I've tried all three methods provided with the video and I was pleasantly surprised that it made sound with the third option, so i knew that my speakers weren't damaged (mine fell into a toilet :^) ). So I tried to reset to factory settings and it didn't work, but as soon as I restored backup information, played with the volume buttons, it showed up as "volume". Hope it helps for others with the same problem.

For people who are stuck outside just roll a paper and clean the headphone jack or something similar which can go inside the jack but also is soft and not rough. Worked like a charm. Thankyou so much for the video 😁
GUYS!!!! THIS HAS BEEN MY SOLUTION!!: Clean the plug hole LOTS AND LOTS OF TIMES! Use the cotton thing like he shows us, but my advice is to moisten one part with your tongue (not that much, it shouldn’t be wet, just a little moist) and use it first. Push it as far as you can go, and rotate it several times. If you’ve never done it before and your iPhone isn’t new, it MUST be dirty. After you use the moist part, use the other part as well. Repeat it until you see dirt. If it keeps coming out clean and white, you’re not done with it. Key is repeating!

What worked with me is that I 1) I called from a different phone 2) Put speaker mode On 3) Put speaker mode Off 4) Connected the headphones On 5) Connected headphones Off. This worked and I could here the sounds again without using headphones. Hope this helps somebody. Like this comment so people can see it!
What I did to get the sound working again was using the q tip to remove water or any other particles, then I leaned my device in an almost a vertical direction with the headphone jack facing to the ground. I waited for about 30 minutes and it works. (When I tested by watching this video it was a bit of a shocker to me as the volume came in without warning) This may or may not work for you, so if it doesn’t work try something else because I would be a bit frustrated when I would try another strategy and it wouldn’t work. Just keep experimenting.
Nothing worked, tried everything. I spent 4 hours, was ready to throw my phone and finally a miracle happened. 1. Call someone on loud speaker 2. Go into spotify/ any music player 3. Play with your volume buttons, you should hear the music and be on call at the same time 5. Play with the buttons for a minute 6. Hang up on the person 7. Go back into spotify/music player and play with the buttons (mine went to headphone mode but then went back to normal) hope this helps :)

This helped! So much! My phone got rain in it today and even after putting it in rice for hours and playing the frequency to get water out, nothing brought me speakers out of headphone mode. Turned out there was a bunch of dirt and yuck in my headphone jack that just got worse with the water damage. Restarting the phone and cleaning the jack worked!! Thank you so much!!! I just fixed mine today. I stuck in Headphones mode for about two days. I tried everything, watch every tutorials on TH-cam but nothing worked. What I did to fix mine is I cleaned the headset port first by using a pin and cotton buds. After cleaning, I played a music on my iPhone while continue plugging and unplugging my headset. Just do it continuously and also press volume button to check if it changed from headphones mode to normal mode. Do it until it goes back to normal. Try it, that's the only solution that works for me. I hope it works for you too.

I’ll tell you what worked for me. I tried everything and it didn’t work. What I did is I got headphones kept unplugging and plugging them in fast (Just take part of the headphone jack out not the whole thing) while changing my sound until it showed the sound icon. Hope this helps (and try it for 5 minutes).
Hi! A few tips that I’ve used when this has happened to me. I’ve let it sit in rice and then it absorbes the water, but be careful that you don’t get rice stuck in any of the speakers or ports. Also I forget what they’re called but they come in packages sometimes and they absorb water. Lock your phone in a ziplock bag with it by the headphone jack.
Guys so my phone was in snow, I was crying and everything I kept trying I didn’t have no q tip or nun so I had use a bag with air and blew it into the phone and it worked !
I legit spent the last half hour trying to fix this. I needed up using the q-tip and managed to push it really hard and I got the tiniest amount of lint out but that was enough to work!! Thank you, can’t believe it was that easy!
If this does not work get wireless headphones connect it to Bluetooth and put the volume up and down and the headphones will be off the disconnect it from Bluetooth and then the headphone mode will be turned off

So then I got frustrated and started aggressively sticking a q- tip in and out of my headphone jack while resetting my phone about 4-5 times and then played 2 songs in my music app and it worked!!!!! My phone’s back to normal yayyy. I restarted my phone a bunch of times, having it on airplane mode for hours, cleaned the headphone jack with the thinnest paintbrush I have (bc I can’t find a bic pen) and played with the volume. Not exactly in that order but, pray to the gods or deities that you have😅

I talked to my friend on phone on speaker mode
Then I put my phone on airplane mode, I put my phone on the charger then turned it off
After 30 min I looked and it worked

This helped! So much! My phone got rain in it today and even after putting it in rice for hours and playing the frequency to get water out, nothing brought me speakers out of headphone mode. Turned out there was a bunch of dirt and yuck in my headphone jack that just got worse with the water damage. Restarting the phone and cleaning the jack worked!! Thank you so much!!! Jdm TV Okay if these 3 options don’t work, try connecting your iPhone to a Bluetooth speaker and play with the volume buttons on your phone while listening to music, then slide up in your control center and click where it says the audio devices while the music is playing.. switch from the “Bluetooth speaker” to “iPhone” your music should start playing on your iPhone speaker without headphone mode enabled.

I just fixed mine today. I stuck in Headphones mode for about two days. I tried everything, watch every tutorials on TH-cam but nothing worked. What I did to fix mine is I cleaned the headset port first by using a pin and cotton buds. After cleaning, I played a music on my iPhone while continue plugging and unplugging my headset. Just do it continuously and also press volume button to check if it changed from headphones mode to normal mode. Do it until it goes back to normal. Try it, that's the only solution that works for me. I hope it works for you too.

I’ll tell you what worked for me. I tried everything and it didn’t work. What I did is I got headphones kept unplugging and plugging them in fast (Just take part of the headphone jack out not the whole thing) while changing my sound until it showed the sound icon. Hope this helps (and try it for 5 minutes).

Hi! A few tips that I’ve used when this has happened to me.
I’ve let it sit in rice and then it absorbes the water, but be careful that you don’t get rice stuck in any of the speakers or ports.
Also I forget what they’re called but they come in packages sometimes and they absorb water. Lock your phone in a ziplock bag with it by the headphone jack.
Guys so my phone was in snow, I was crying and everything I kept trying I didn’t have no q tip or nun so I had use a bag with air and blew it into the phone and it worked !

I legit spent the last half hour trying to fix this. I needed up using the q-tip and managed to push it really hard and I got the tiniest amount of lint out but that was enough to work!! Thank you, can’t believe it was that easy!
If this does not work get wireless headphones connect it to Bluetooth and put the volume up and down and the headphones will be off the disconnect it from Bluetooth and then the headphone mode will be turned off

So then I got frustrated and started aggressively sticking a q- tip in and out of my headphone jack while resetting my phone about 4-5 times and then played 2 songs in my music app and it worked!!!!! My phone’s back to normal yayyy. I restarted my phone a bunch of times, having it on airplane mode for hours, cleaned the headphone jack with the thinnest paintbrush I have (bc I can’t find a bic pen) and played with the volume. Not exactly in that order but, pray to the gods or deities that you have😅
