Welcome to Episode One of our nine-part Oman series! We pick up our 4x4, pack with the boot with camping supplies, and head south of Muscat to explore Wadi Shab, Wadi Tiwi, the coast around Ras al Jinz, plus some off-roading through the Eastern Hajar Mountains and the Salmah Plateau. Want to do a trip like this too? Find our ready-made Oman road trip itineraries and travel guides over on the blog > www.goingthewholehogg.com/destinations/middle-east/oman/ Thanks for watching! Kim & Del
(Having been) Enjoying watching the videos of Kim & Del’s traveling together as a couple, I used to think that the depth of time Kim & Del spends sharing warm conversations with each other would definitely be very directly proportional to the depth of time spent in marriage life in your friendly hometown, Scotland. So, I imagine that it may have taken a moment for Del to tell Kim that Del loves Kim too much before two of you get married, but that it seems to take a lifetime to prove it now, particularly in this video of Kim and Del’s enjoying the journey of life in Oman. So much impressive journey of life to two of you in Oman! (From Seoul)🥰
So glad you’ve been enjoying our videos, and yeah, life is one big, never ending conversation between us… we’re lucky to be able to share this life together. Thanks again!
Awesome! Another GTWH Oman adventure. You guys were part of the reason we went to Oman in 2019, fell in love with your previous videos and had to go there!!....few places give you such a sense of adventure, natural beauty and remoteness like Oman does. Cant wait to go back. Thanks so much for this vlog and sharing the journey:)
Thanks Johan! Appreciate you watching and taking the time to get in touch. Great to know we played a part in your own trip to Oman and we definitely agree with that summary of what an experience in the country can be like. Thanks again 😃
Thank you! Yeah, we haven't made videos like this for a while, we enjoy mixing it up a bit too, so glad you're enjoying this style! Plenty more to come 😀
Fantastic! One of our all time favourite countries - we’ve now spent a total of about 11 weeks there - so highly recommend it. Haven’t been to Socotra but it looks amazing 😃
Oh yeah, just big empty skies with no light pollution at so many of the camp spots we stayed at, so the stars are amazing! Probably should have tried to capture that now that you mention it 🤔😅
