I know this is late but allow me to answer your question still. 😊 Young Hyun still likes being called Brian because that's the name he chose when he immigrated to Canada and that's what he's been using all his trainee life in JYP. But since he also chose to have a stage name which is YoungK, he likes being called YoungK on stage and on-cam. The boys themselves get confused especially at this stage as they're so used calling him Brian so they keep on referring him Brian still in this interview. And YoungK kinda felt defeated and didn't bother anymore to correct any one of them.

He's American(quite noticable by the accent and him saying "west coast brother" lol) from Seattle. He is a great violinist, actually he accepted and attended Juilliard for a month or 2 then dropped out cause he decided he wanted to become a singer lol. He's shy/bubbly/sarcastic/4d/funny. Yeah Benji in a nutshell for ya!
