- Broiler poultry farming in India is getting more popular day by day, as the demand for eggs and chickens are increasing with the increase in population. The boiler farms are operated by hatching egg farmers, and they raise hens (female) and roosters (male) who are the parents of the broiler chickens.
The roosters and hens are made to reproduce fertilized eggs, which are sent to broiler hatcheries for the incubation process. These eggs are not the ones which we eat, as the eggs which we consume are not fertilized and can never hatch into chickens.

Broiler poultry farm business runs in a two-stage process. The parent stock is purchased from a primary breeder and is delivered and placed on a special rearing house or starter farm for approximately 18 weeks of their age, and then they will be moved to the laying farm.
In broiler chicken farming, the hens start laying eggs at approximately 26 weeks of their age, and they can lay somewhere between 145-150 eggs before the end of their expected lay period, which is 35 to 40 weeks later. The eggs are then collected several times a day, and only high-quality ones are sent to the hatchery to be hatched into broiler chick.

One set compost tank can handle about 10tons fresh chicken manure every day(moisture content:60%-70%) and from the 8 day on, will discharge 3-4tons high quality organic fertilizer every day(moisture content: about 30%)
