I am in NZ and missed that broadcast. I luckily came across 'Shedunnit' on youtube while rereading Dorothy Sayers/Jill Paton Walsh 'Peter Wimsey' books. I did at one time have all Agatha Christie's output in paperback but a move to a smaller home meant I had to dipose of them and, in fact all of my collection of murder mysteries, All I have left now are some reference books. Forunately I had come across Kindle and most of my old library is now stored in 'Calibre' on my computer and in my Kindle.
Gaudy Night is also my favourite, the quality of Sayers' writing, so clearly scholarly and the innumerable 'layers' hidden in the story over and above the obvious plot are most satisfying for me.
Thank you, Caroline for Shedunnit, I am very glad to have found it and wish I were able to give you more than moral support

A funny story told about Sean Connery and Murder On The Orient Express, Sidney Lumet who directed the movie, first asked Sean Connery to be in it, he said he would think about it. Then they went to all these other actors and told them that Sean was in the movie, so they accepted because they all wanted to work with him, including Albert Finney. Then they went back to Sean and told him the cast and he said that he would do it. LOL!
I love your broadcast, I am new to it, it is really great and I am learning a lot, thank you. And I love this interview, you two are so cute.🙂
