Thanks for this! Small note, it's not 80% chance to stun, common probability error, it comes out closer to 64% chance to stun or 75% chance if he's deviled.
Thanks Kerry! :) Yeah... I tried to make it simple for the video since the stun isn't really essential to his kit and I figured I'd stay away from discussing probabilities - but I got busted in the comments a few times already LOL. Good object lesson for future video edits :p.

@@dominikbade9674 Eventually I will do all 2As. But to be honest, he's not too high on the list right now - I'm not really a fan of him, I feel like his kit doesn't synergize as well as it could. Still, he does get used a fair amount, and I will do him eventually :)

Oh yeah I didn't mention that, but I used to use Jultan, Briand, Chasun + 2 on those stages (now I just do the Garo solo tho, way less work hehe)

Cool vid as always. This is how I exactly use my jultan, with a bit less stats ofc ha ha. But the 2a awakening really makes him extra beefy due to the added base defense.

Love your content brother! Quick off topic question.....dark lightning emperor.....does his 3rd skill stack off his base stats or is it a percentage of his overall attack and defense?
Heya Damien - I don't have Herteit and he's pretty rare so I can't say I'm 100% positive. But I'm PRETTY sure it's based on his overall stats. Simply because when I've played him, he's been able to decimate my monsters so quickly, and if it was only his base stats, it seems like he couldn't weaken them so quickly.
But again.. that's truly a guess on my part here :p
@@XennialGamer Yeah I thought the same....I've just started to farm dragons b10....(at 2 and a half minutes lol but it something) cause I really want him on Violent. My runs still Derp every once in a while but it's definitely better now that my Loren is over 200 speed and Bella has 100% acc. Thanks again bro.

I have a Jultan, Raoq, Triana def that is 10/14 in GB, G1-G2 guild. Raoq's team up bring def break, heal block, dot, atb decrease, and potential sleep from Triana lol it's a loaded atk for sure :) love him. Got him on Double rev guard because of better stats, but I would like triple revenge. Use him all the time. Had him built before 2a.
Yeah I used to use a jultan fran + 1 (miho, amduat, a few different ones) and they all did great too! He's such an underrated monster - and I say that even though many people use him regularly haha

Hi XG as far as dark tank concerned especially with loren everywhere can u compare him with varus and miho with revenge build in all 3.
Maybe simple pros and cons and whether all 3 worth building?

Heya Cypher, because Varus is a defense based monster, Loren's defense breaks weaken his survivability significantly. Also, his passive is largely neutralized by her defense breaks. So while Varus is a good 2A monster, he's definitely not good as a Loren counter.
Miho is similarly not a great Loren counter because Lorens are typically built with low CR. The attribute advantage makes Lorens slightly more likely to crit, but it's no guarantee that Miho will revenge. Even then, Miho is also more likely to die if one hit crits and the other does not. At best, Miho is an RNG-based counter to Loren, but definitely not reliable (and if it's a Seara-Loren comp, then Miho as a counter will almost always lose).
Conversely, Jultan is an extremely reliable Loren counter - he's easily the best in the game. Other good ones include Grego (damage reduction), Dias (tanky/damage reduction) and Guillame (LD4, and kind of RNG, but still better than Miho).

Just wanna say no Jultan has not a 80% chance to stun. Each individual hit still has a 40% chance to stun but you have a guaranteed stun 24% of the times you use the skill.
Yeah I did mean to say 80% activation rate, not stun rate.
But if you assume the accuracy check at 15% (really it's higher, since he'll occasionally have monsters with high resistance in that mix) it would be (40 * .85) = 34% chance to stun with each hit. However, 34% if the time the stun activates on skill 2, the monster will already be stunned from skill 1. So rounding off, it should be 34% and 26% for a 60% overall chance to stun when Jultan's accuracy is within 15% of the enemy's resistance :)
I didn't realize we could use devilmon for 2A mons. Is Raoq or Kro worth using Devilmon?

I wouldn't use devilmon on Kro because his skillups don't really give enough stuff you need, but Raoq is definitely worth deviling :) I actually have done a tier list for guild pvp, a month or two ago :) th-cam.com/video/j8pk-kRZ21k/w-d-xo.html

I am so torn between hellea ( i want that 18seconds on my gb10, currently im at 19.38 ) and jultan for the ld3 event. Already got miho , lyn , kabilla.
I think i should pick jultan for G1 siege? But im seeing less lorens these days on siege defs, maybe its cause of jultan?
So the thing with Hellea is, she's mainly for vanity. She can give you nice top speeds, but cannot help you speed up your average time :p Whereas I use Jultan every single day, often 2 or 3 days (if it's eiege day). To me, I'd take Jultan for sure if you're doing PVP. The Hellea flex is nice for profile rank, but Jultan is generally more fun and consistently used.
I use him with vigor and lulu, he has 53k hp and 1400 defense and he still died to perna and theomars cuz they went 3 turns on 1st turn an 2nd turn. Good thing i still won LOL.
Simple maths, 2 x 40 percent chances does not add to 80 percent it just means each hit has.... 40 percent chance
I don't remember the specific example, but true the actual chance would be something like 64% I believe. Easy to slip up on that type of thing when you're recording :p

Stick to hp%, his best use is a tank to reflect dmg

Could Louise be a really good support for Jultan?
She would work with him for sure. Just be mindful of how it impacts the AI manipulations as well when you bring her in since you'll gain that multi-turn immunity if his health is over 50%, so you can't rely on him getting defense broken and forcing other monsters to chase him

Hehe.. I actually tested him there once out of curiosity. Not great :p But not terrible. He works as a frontline tank, but doesn't really add much value overall. Miho makes for a better FL tank in that type of use ;)

Just a nitpick: 2x 40% to stun is not 80% to stun, it's actually a 64% chance. It's definitely not 100% after skillup.

Quick math (probability theory) lesson for those who are interested...

This is common mistake people make when they calculate the probability of a thing happening over multiple tries, but it's really easy to see why 80% is the wrong number is to consider what would happen if just added the probabilities that are over 50%. If it was 60% to stun, adding up would yield 120%, which doesn't make sense, but even if you artificially limit the result to 100% (my students sometimes do this thinking they are super smart and it annoys me to no end), you kow that there still has to be some chance for both attempts to miss.

There are multiple intuitive ways of calculating the exact probability:
a) Draw the Venn diagram. Each of the areas corresponding to a single attempt is 0.4 in this case. You add up the areas to get 0.8, but then you have to realize that you counted the overlap twice. The area of the overlap is 0.4x0.4=0.16, so you subtract it once to get 0.64 or 64%.

b) Method a) is great for visualising the problem, but not very useful when you have multiple attempts because of the number of overlap areas you would have to account for. For example, if the problem was calculating the probability of rolling at least one head when tossing the coin 10 times, drawing a Venn diagram would be next to useless. However, this problem becomes really easy once you realise that you can re-word the problem into asking what is the probability of NOT rolling all heads. The rules when determining probabilities of multiple events are easy to remember: OR = +, AND = *. If you want to calculate the probability of either A or B occurring, you add the probabilities (either heads or tails rolling is 0.5 + 0.5 = 1) and if you want A and B happening, the probabilities are multiplied (rolling heads on both tosses is 0.5 * 0.5 = 0.25). Therefore, the probability of getting tails 10 times in a row is 0.5*0.5*...*0.5=0.5^10, which is around 0.001. Finally, because you are fine with any event ocurring except all tails (i.e. you want at least one head), you have to subtract this number from the probability of anything happening, which is always equal 1 or 100%. So the probability of getting at least one head in 10 tosses is 1 - 0.001 = 0.999 or 99.9%. Using the same method to calculate the probability of stunning, you first calculate the probability of the attack missing if the chance to hit is 0.4 or 40%, which is 1 - 04 = 0.6. Then you calculate the probability of both missing, 0.6 * 0.6 = 0.36 or 36%. Subtracting from 100% gives you again 64%.

c) Final way is not terribly practical for pen & paper calculation purposes, but it's instructive for coding purposes. If you wanted to write a code that simulates the outcomes and gives you feedback on which try you succeeded (if you're making your own video game, for example, and want the animation to play on the correct hit), you don't want to determine success of failure on each hit, but only up to the point at which you succeed, because that's more efficient. Therefore, you would generate a random outcome for the first attack. If it succeeds, play the animation, change the state to "stunned" in this case, and you are done. If it fails, go to the next attempt and repeat until success or until all of the tries have been used up. Let's calculate the total probability for the case of 2x 40% chance to stun. You want the probability to either stun on the first attack (0.4 or 40%) OR not stun on the first attack (1 - 0.4 = 0.6 or 60%) AND stun on the second attack (0.4 or 40%). Therefore, the probability is 0.4 + 0.6*0.4 = 0.64 or, again 64%.
Hope this helps anyone to not fail a math exam in the future.

edit2: Saw your answer to the Marcel Muller. The activation rate is still not 80%, see above. Resistance has nothing to do with it. Afaik, the resistance check is applied to each attempt, so you can just do the same calculations, but with a modified probability for each hit depending on your accuracy and the target's resistance, just use the modified probability instead of 40%.
instead of writing a research paper on this and calling it a "probability theory lesson" you could just say the chance to miss is 0.6, so the chance to miss twice is 0.6*0.6=0.36. :P

Just a quick response to the "edit2" - I meant to say "activation rate" in the video, not that 80% was the accurate activation rate. In retrospect I probably should've edited that part out of the video. I was just trying to simplify it, since I can get confusing enough with SWOP and other stats at times, and we don't really use him for the stuns anyway.
I did say 60% in the response to Marcel though ;) Just for reference - 40% (pre-skilled) per hit is the activation rate. Resistance check will be applied independently to each activation, and assuming 15% (again that's not fully accurate) the stun rate is then 34% per hit.
for the event its miho or him. I dont have either of them so going be hard pick for me. if you in same boat who would you get?
A lot depends upon your needs and stage of game. Miho shines on defenses, and can be used on offense. Jultan shines on offenses, and can be used on defense. But the runing requirements for Jultan are much easier also. If you do any RTA, then I might go with Miho. If you don't RTA, I'd probably take Jultan - but it's a "win" either way :)

Miho ..jultan is just a tank while Miho is a damage dealer that's hard to kill..which is element neutral and has solo potential

Light werewolf on a speed stripper build that way he can s3 strip and s2 at be boost and can still be on hp damage dealer build for guild war for theo garo teams
And fairy does so much..heal cleanse cc ..what more do just want.
Yeah Rahul, Elucia is definitely amazing, she's so strong!! Especially in special league. I know a lot of people love Eshir too. He's not as good of a fit for my playstyle, but I can definitely see why people like him :)

Niche at best, he's mainly a guild content counter to light mons, but every once in a blue moon you'll see a light-heavy arena team that he can control (tho he'd be too slow for rush)
