- Winter finally showed up in Tahoe so we took two days to just shoot some footage with no pressure in order to get out of a creative funk and make a short video. Hopefully you enjoy!

It's ending here too :( Short-lived this season. Oh well, I'm ready to start camping!
this was great! nowadays I mostly see videos done entirely with a 1 prime lens and a gimbal and it gets kinda boring, also the color looks amazing, I too own this camera and I always think on achieving your image quality

I am in LOVE with this video! I totally hear you about the techno-slow-mo rut, and the song--and the shots--WOW. You guys are an inspiration. I was trying to decide on a lens to get with the 6400, and I think you've just convinced me which way to go. Now. How do I convince my wife I ALSO need a drone? Hmm. One step at a time. I've hit subscribe and can't wait to see more.
This video has sold me on this lens. I have been pretty hesitant about buying it but I know I want a good zoom lens for an upcoming trip I'm taking.
No drones or gimbals here. Just plain old hand holding on my a6300 so seeing the quality you were able to pull out of this lens has convinced me to pull the trigger and just get it already.
Love your work, thanks for all of the great alpha camera help you've given me. I just recently adopted your cine4 settings and bought your latest LUT pack hoping they will give me a bit of a jumpstart into photography and filmmaking. I'm a total noob and you have already helped me out so much. Thanks again, man.

Hi Cody I'm a big fan of your editing style/ videography. I'm a young videographer from London. I think it would be cool if you made a video on the whole cinematic video process (e.g camera movement, shot composition and how you edit your 120 footage in premier) and how you get the best results. I'm sure this would be helpful to me and others. Keep it up bro!

Tahoe looks unreal in winter, dude. I have a much smaller little lake up on Mt. Hood which looks similar, but nothing as large as this near me. Gorgeous shots, perfect vibes as always, Cody.
I snagged that 35mm recently to add for a wedding I booked and I'm stoked to start filming something different and fresh.

Great video Cody. I like this format of videos so please keep them coming. It seems that most people use the same editing style, slow motion, trendy transitions etc and that can get a little boring. I like the fact you create epic content with affordable gear. Very Inspiring!

Been to Lake Tahoe end of summer. Beautiful place. Quite envious that you experienced it in winter. Good job with the grading. Also, big fan of handheld + one zoom lens is, it's about 90% of what I do.

Cody Blue there’s a rumor an NX2 will come out this year. The specs on it seem too good to be true, but that’s what the NX1 seemed like at the time too so we will see.

oh my.. this new lut looks so good. I recently bought the sony a6500 but haven't felt inspired to go out and shoot because I don't own a gimbal. This video made me want to go out and shoot again.

Quite like it! Just like you said, often everything looks the same, like this spirit of time slowmotion, feel-good, electronic, somehow unrealistic footage. Not that I wouldn't like that, but THIS WAS DIFFERENT! :) what I like about handheld footage is that it gives you the feeling of being in the picture instead of just watching it. Handheld doesn't have to mean crappy, what somehow many people tend to believe. Anyway, great one! btw: the LUT is really good, not too illusional.
