I really want JJ to debut in a different group in the next few years. He has so much talent and potential, he’s so sweet and soft spoken in interviews as well. He seems to really take care in the words he uses.

i'm sad they didn't debut after all, but... all the project did to the guys was making them struggle. i'm happy they're all better now and huge thumbs up to leo for proving he's changed and reflected on his controversy. i love all 7 of them.

I really wanted Sangwon to debut, but he has left Hybe to start a modeling career. Sangwon supposedly started training at BigHit in 2016 which means that up until leaving, he had the longest training period out of any (undebuted) trainee at Hybe. He trained with both TXT and Enhypen. He has been mentioned by Taehyun in a vlive and went on vacation with Jay and Heeseung to Brunei. He said in one of the Trainee A videos that he was trying to not get his hopes up because he had been in disbanded projects before. I think after the attention Trainee A received pre-debut, their debut seemed almost inevitable, which makes the disbandment of the project even more heartbreaking for him. I think that is what made him finally leave the company. It's also compounded because I think he was very close with Leo from watching their videos. I would love to see him debut in another group, but I don't think he can experience any more heartbreak like this.

So many of us identified as Aeons, and were so excited to support their debut😢. I always had the impression that they were not supported properly by the company. They needed more guidance, and mentors. Why did the company release such controversial content? And young people will make mistakes, because you have to experience life to learn and grow. Trainees are in a little bubble, and don't get to have the same life experiences the rest of us take for granted. What a talented group of young men they are. I have been keeping my eyes open for any hopes of seeing them again. We know Yorch debuted, on his own, in Thailand. It breaks my heart to think Sangwon, and Woochan might give up their dreams of a career in entertainment. They are so young, still, and I pray they are just taking a break after such a stressful time. Especially Sangwon, after training so long. Someone needs to acknowledge his potential and scout him! I Loved Leo's musical style, and also praying that he continues producing! Thank you for reporting on this! I think we will always be watching for them!💪🤨

I was ready to stan Trainee A with all my heart 😭 I loved their extreme chemistry and how they radiated confidence and naturalness even when talking in front of the camera. They were also very talented and synchronized when it came to dancing. 😭 I still want them to debut altogether, even of what's left of them now :((

Leo debuted as a soloist,Yorch in POW and Jihoon in Pledis' new boygroup called TWS
I think that after Leo's departure, the mood within the team was probably just not the same, and they eventually decided to cancel the project as a result. We do not know what happened behind the scenes, but we know that Leo had struggled a lot towards the end, so it's not hard to imagine that the others struggled too. Add to it the pressure, your friend's departure etc., and you might just find yourself with a recipe for disbandment.
I really think there was much more issues and it was never as simple as leo leaving. Even after he left I'm sure they tried. Something was way off. Hybe fkd up on this one.
@@1Skorpiathey were meant to write own songs, Leo was basically the backbone of that with Woochan. When Leo left, they just had a strong dance line, a strong rapper and a yet unfnished Yorch. Without Leo there just wasn't enough to debut them. I think they might have tried as they did some additional videos, but with debut again moved by month to years I guess Sangwon was the next to give up as he was close to Leo and had the longest waiting period.
Still thinking the younger dance line and Woochan will debut somewhere. Hybe better kerp them as they had a lot talent.

Leo was basically the yeonjun of txt, the heesung of enhypen, the rm of bts. without him trainee a would be incomplete. it's sad that he left so suddenly and so close to debuting

Update: abt a month after this video was posted, James was a backup dancer for JK during the live stages of "SEVEN". So he’s still in HYBE as a trainee.
Yeah hopefully James will debut in BigHitNBG or atleast some other subsidiary of Hybe

They already developed the true friendship, if “Leo not in the group, then I will leave”, and one more thing about debuting trainee is that they need to be completely ready to be an idol so that they can truly make their debut.

JJ has so much potential, hismlack of debut would be a talent wasted. Tbbh it wouldn't surprise me if he ended up on Iland 2 or some other survival show in the near future. Heck, I think he'd stand a good chance of winning or at the very least make the lineup. This could be true for pretty much all of this group.
iland 2 is a girls version, so lets hope an island 3 comes

Leo debut as soloist under 131. Yorch debut with boy group named POW under Grid. I hope the rest of members will debut soon too. I couldn’t see them tgt in the same group but at least I can see them stand next to each other on stage in the future.
Jihoon just debuted in Pledis' new boygroup called TWS last January 22 this year, Jihoon and Yorch already interacted and meet each other again in M Countdown :)
I really looked foward to trainee A's debut it felt like they were ready to debut them but suddenly...here we are the project ended...i gope that the remaining members who are not active rn get the chance to debut bc they are all really talented ❤

I’ve been a fan of them since oct. 2021 and I always thought they were such a talented group and really wanted them to debut. I enjoyed watching them on the journey but them sadly not debuting was upsetting to me knowing that they spent their youth training. they were such a talented group that was thrown away. It's quite simple yet so hard for people to get; what happened behind the scenes of a label is obviously unknown to us. We do not even know what was the real reason behind Trainee A's disbandment. So to assume irrelevant things on our own is just ridiculous.
Believe me, there's always a reason for everything. So I m pretty sure something must have happened and that's why Trainee A was dissolved.

I was following trainee a for awhile and I was really looking forward to their debut. I was mainly looking forward to Woochan because I remember when he was on SMTM6 when he was younger and he was really talented. I remeber watching the battle where it was Woochan and (I forgot the other persons name) vs won jae and Asol and when Asol said something about how woochan will be an Idol. And when Woochan was announced as a member of TraineeA I rewatched that video. I was also a fan of JJ because of his dancing skills. I am also kind of wondering how Jihoon and James are doing because they weren't mentioned in this video at all.

It's hybe fault too but on the other hand it's our fault too that they were not debuted. The expectation and unrealistic demands of perfection from the society towards idols, makes company to force the idols towards into unimaginable being along with the reviews and critics of public. I still think the situation with Leo was stupid.
1. How many freaking rappers has lyrics that sounds like that and no one says anything? Bc why should we?

It's because it's kpop. If he was rapping on a Drake song with those lyrics, no one would think twice about it and would be loving him and his verse, never thinking twice about it. Kpop stans think kpop idols can't do any wrong, and when they do, it hurts their feelings

I said This before in another video I think that the reason why trainee A’s debut got canceled was because of Leo’s scandal and before his scandal I think BIGHIT desperately wanted to debut him and make Leo the leader of trainee A but ever since that scandal he left the company and I think BIGHIT kind got a little upset. I believe that's why too. Could be wrong, but it's also possible. Leo was super talented and him leaving had to hurt. That was messed up though. They could have let that pass over and debut them. Korea didn't care about the so called scandal or no there country outside of America so they would have still been fine

I would like to disagree with this statement. They literally fought for garam but fans kept pushing and pushing. Above all else kpop companies are business that need to think about the longevity of the groups. They tried to keep garam, fans wouldn’t allow it. Not much hybe could do without risking lesserafim.

It kept on going for months but due to the public pressure and also the fans pressure and to protect le sserafim from disbanding or becoming a flop group, they had no choice but to let her go. This big company have thousands of staff, and they also need money to invest in the future debut group. Currently BTS still contribute more than half of Hybe's income and investor are still skeptical about Hybe's capabilities to survive without BTS and any mistakes or failures, fan will blame company. I agree with you, I am also sad about Trainee A situation but yeah, it's easy to blame than see the whole picture.

It’s give me Sungtarookies over again by Trainee A, even they have different things, when all 5 members waited for their debut, but they kicked out of Nct for nothing after 3 years for Shotaro & Sungchan and Shohei was a group under Avex just for 1 year (2017-2018) and trainee again for 5 years under Sm and they decided don’t let him debut with the 4 boys, because he have issues problems, it’s not about his health problems , probably for his age, because SM said he too old, when he is 26 years old for no reason, which is normal age to be idol
I know this is off topic, but what’s with people using the New Zealand flag when talking about Australia? Apparently it’s hard to find the Australian flag so they just use the New Zealand one? This is the third video in the past two weeks that I’ve watched that has messed it up.
Conspiracy theory based on absolutely nothing but this post: it is illegal to film and/or broadcast the Australian flag in movement. @@Elias-hg4qz there hasn’t really been any definite proof of him still being a trainee but around a month or two ago, he was seen riding a train in korea so hes still probably a trainee. Cause if not then he would most likely return to japan

I followed them during their journey and was always irritated by the criticism they faced by management. (Even though yes there’s alot of that in the industry) they should’ve given them constructive criticism or at LEAST a few compliments. It hurt seeing them constantly sad.

Leo looks happier solo, Jihoon is getting to show more of his skills in TWS, and Yorch is doing well in POW. JJ is probably still a trainee or just isn't active on social media. And I'm sure the rest are living their lives as normal people doing what they like, whether that's being a backbup dancer like James or being an influencer or just being a normal high school student. You can looks at this as a happy ending in my opinion. If they debuted they would have received a lot of hate from Leo's scandal.

Of course I pray for their success but we don't know what's going on behind the scenes whether the staff has a secret plan or by sending them to another agency is the right choice to make. I don't agree with the statement that they waste their youth struggle at Bighit and there is no certainty of debut because all kpop trainees go through a process like this, it's just not exposed. Actually I think trainee A is lucky because before their debut they already had strong fans who supported them and they had training experience at one of the big agencies.

Sangwon started his modelling career and has a solo song while JJ is expected to be under peldis entertainment or SM entertainment(because he was seen in the SM entertainment Tokyo) so he might be a SM trainee

What’s more more stupid of what BigHit has done was not debuting TA as scheduled and kept delaying the project, resulting to being scrapped that it pressured Leo.
I was expecting Leo to be the leader of the group when they are to debut as he appeared in BTS MV ‘Permission To Dance’. It was a sign assuring his debut.
But because he left, the project was planned to scrapped by the planners.
Just because he left doesn’t mean the whole group should’ve been scrapped by BigHit. They could’ve chosen another trainee, leading for the group to debut.

I wasn't even into kpop when I found out about them...I literally watched every single videos of them and I thought they were the first group I was going to stan...this group is still my biggest what if.
you should support POW and TWS, and Leo who is under 131
Tho we don’t know for sure the exact details, no matter what it is, ending this group was a waste of money, time and especially talent. BigHit doesn’t seem to worry about losing money after making it big with BTS that they can do this. Those kids were all individually talented
