Here is a short but scenic flight (AA 2952) from Tucson to Phoenix in February 2016. Hope you enjoy!
Born and raised here. Love flying and landing in Tucson. Most of the time straight in and the airport is not crazy busy.
I am glad to see you included video of inside the airport in Tucson.
I love our Tucson airport
Can't there just be a railway instead of a flight?
Nise pretty few. Of TUCSON
Lucky you, getting to deplane using stairs at Sky Harbor. I wish I can experience that, but I always end up boarding and deplaning with the jet bridges there. Then again, the planes I'm usually put on are CRJ 900s. I think they only have passengers deplane using stairs when it's a CRJ 200. Also, that flight is very needless. I have no idea why AA operates that flight when Phoenix is only literally 1hr 15mins away from Tucson.
Being that PHX is a connecting hub for both AA and SWA,I wish SWA would have the shuttle flights as well to TUS
If it's needless, why do they operate them?
Well, the flight does cut down on the timing, and it provides a connection for Tucson residents whose destinations aren't served by KTUS but can be served by KPHX.
0:34 probably part of the boneyard/ Pima Air Museum area, maybe
What Camera are you using in this video?
nice shot of the u of a
I have flown this one
What altitude were you at around the 4:23 mark? I'm asking because you mentioned in the video Humphreys peak is 12,657, so I'm just saying the altitude you were flying and the mountain peak look the same.
Last time I was on this shuttle flight they mentioned cruise altitude being 12000.
1 hour and 41 min driving... why take a
flight?
This flight is mainly for connecting flights to PHX which has destinations that are not normally served by TUS.
