Bruins pull out another one...! I feel like the only Bruin (Class of '75) out here in the Arizona Sonoran Desert, but so proud of what Coach Cronin is building with this basically new group of players. Onward with UCLA Pride!
This team, Mick’s teams play hard, play defense and they never give up! The mighty Bruin site were giving, up, finally someone said there’s a lot of time left,! And we got some stops played much better defense and we rattled them like they rattled us! Arizona played good defense the middle 20 minutes of that game, we outplayed them the first 10 and the last 10! Great job guys, Mick!
Two straight quality wins away from home. Now, they have to beat North Carolina and the rest of the country will start to take notice. Once again Mick Cronin proves defense travels well.
I think Mick did not expect Mara to improve so fast after his preseason minor injury. I hope he gives him more playing time. Aday's improvement will help UCLA in the long-run.
Half way through the second half I wouldn't have given this team a puncher's chance of winning.....but, that's last years' Bruins. These fellows fight and have respect for each other. Nice job men.
Much improved defense whole team , across the board everyone on the team had valuable minutes….. and the defense got better under pressure generating more offense especially in the end of the game! Arizona is not where bruins are as far as development but with against their coach this was a good acid test, bruins passed 👍 good job guys and good job Mr Cronin!! Well done 👍
Nice to know that the law of averages still exists. This year, the Bruins are winning the close games. Last year, they couldn't buy a win in a close game. This teams toughness reflects their coach's impact on them.
