    Yea no. Clone Pilot helmets are yellow and the Homer Simpson thing was a made up gag by someone on the internet.

      Plus the pilot looks nothing like Homer. The commonality of "clone armour being round and smooth" is about as far as it goes, considering the pilot's head doesn't even look very yellow to me. More reaching and wishlisting.

    The odd number episodes are subtitles of the dark side and the even numbered episodes have subtitles of the good side. Each episode has the characters in the opposite order of when they appear and what they're going through. Anakin arrives at 32 minutes of an indoor location in Episode I because Luke arrives at 16 minutes of an outdoor location in Episode IV. There are many other layers throughout the series.
    Jabba the Hut was in the directors cut of New Hope so he can arrive in Episode 1 and the creatures in the bleachers of the pod race are mostly the ones in the bars Obi-Wan and Luke go to in Episode 4. Darth Maul's death reverses Obi-Wan since he was killed by Darth Vader. I watched Episode 4 and realized I was right all along and the opening scene in Episode 1 reverses Episode 4. This is why Obi-Wan appears early in Episode 1 because he was late in 4. Vice versa with C-3PO.
    The opening of Episode 4 starts with Storm Troopers blasting characters with guns leading to an explosion of black smoke in which the smoke contrasts the white interior of the spaceship and Darth Vader emerges from the smoke. C-3PO appears in the scene. Leia gives a message for help to Obi-Wan. Later, C-3PO and R2-D2 leave the spaceship. Episode 1 opens with four characters approaching the spaceship (including Obi-Wan) where a female version of C-3PO greets them. An explosion occurs where white smoke from another room emerges contrasting the dark interiors of the spaceship. The Jedi's emerge from the smoke and do battle with robots. Queen Amidala gives a message for help.
    Then I watch Episode 5 to see if Lucas did this all along in the first trilogy and he did. The opening of Episode 5 takes place on planet Hoth instead of Darth Vader's spaceship. That's why I knew Han Solo would arrive early in 7 because he arrived early in 5, but late in 4 and 6. Notice we hear his voice before seeing his face in 5 and 7 which I predicted would happen before seeing Force Awakens. Obi-Wan appears early in Episode 5 and tells Luke to see Yoda instead of Leia needing to see Obi-Wan in the start of Episode 4. Yoda is a reverse of Obi-Wan since he's also a mentor to Luke, but Yoda's short, non-human and talks backwards. Obi-Wan is tall, human and talks forwards. The final lightsaber duel in Episode 5 is a stalemate since it's the middle of the trilogy. The end of 5 is inside a spaceship with the characters backs turned to the audience in tragedy. Episodes 4 and 6 open on Darth Vader's spaceship and ends on a planet in joy where the characters are facing the audience. I discovered all these character reversals on my own and there's many more.

    The Kessel run goes through a dangerous area of space. Whatever the hazards are, it just means Han found a shortcut that was either too dangerous for other Pilots to attempt or wasn't on the maps/charts of the explored routes. Assuming there even are cut/paste maps n they're not just memorizing landmarks.

    The homer detail just makes me think that the Jar-Jar binks sith theory is true. Ppl who defend it use the argument(?) that George Lucas uses small details & jarjar is seen multiple times doing things very subtly

    • @Scott-wq5lk
      @Scott-wq5lk 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      While that’s definitely not what Lucas intended, that is indeed a fun video to watch. Essentially, Lucas needed certain things to happen (like the appointment of emergency powers) to allow Palpatine to end up as Emperor, and Jar Jar was around when those events were happening, so Lucas used him for some of them. But when looking at it all combined, it does look like Binks did several things that only a Sith would be able to do (like randomly winning the droid battle in Ep 1) in order to ensure Palpatine became Emperor. It’s not true, but it’s something that can happen when so many stories are written about the same characters, and the stories aren’t all written in order.

    The Yoda reference in the Halloween costume scene in ET is also in the soundtrack, and I'm surprised this hasn't been noticed before. Have a listen to John Williams' "ET's Halloween" track, and you can hear a little bit of his "Yoda's Theme" mixed in. Personally I think this musical build-up to the famous "Flying Theme" is one of John Williams' most incredible pieces of music.

    Actually, there's another falcon Easter egg in star wars! Specifically in clone wars. In the blue shadow virus episode, I think around 20 something minutes, I think it's 27, in the bottom right corner of a painting for a scene, the falcon is on a landing pad while a cliff side waterfall towers near. Really interesting find!

    The encounter in entry 2 is expanded even further in the story "faith in an old friend" from the compendium of short stories that is " the empire strikes back: from a certain point of view". In it, we learn about the entity known as the millennium collective, comprised of L3, V5-T (a transport droid built in to the falcon during construction), and ED-4 (a corporate espionage droid uploaded to the falcon prior to its ownership by lando). The 3 separate entities of the 3 droids make up the one entity, meaning that they interchangeably use the singular and collective in the same conversation.
    Both of the certain point of view books are very worth reading in my opinion as it provides so much more to the original trilogy movies. Im very much looking forward to the return of the jedi volume next year for the 40th anniversary of the movies release

      The nearer to light speed the weirder time is perceived by the traveler vs the observer. Also “a long time ago “ is pretty vague. I mean it’s a matter of perspective. All galaxies are far, far away from each other so I think a cosmologist can answer this

      I'll be that guy who nitpicks.
      1. The box 9906763 from Indiana Jones was created to hold the arch of the covenant in 1936 was still in 1957.
      2. That means sometime after 1957 the arch was moved from the warehouse to the Falcon, which would need to have happened before Han took possession of the Falcon which is about 10 years before Episode 4.
      3. So, the first time we (inhabitants of Earth) were told "A long time ago" was 1977.
      4. So, being generous, if box 9906763 was transferred from the Nevada warehouse to the Falcon immediately after the events of Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls (maybe the aliens picked it up before leaving) and then Han acquired the Falcon immediately after box 9906763 was placed on the Falcon, that would mean that the events of A New Hope took place in 1967.
      This would put the events in Star Wars as so in earth years:
      E1 = 1935
      E2 = 1945
      E3 = 1948
      E4 = 1967
      E5 = 1970
      E6 = 1971
      E7 = 2001
      E8 = 2001
      E9 = 2002
      Then if you look at it compared to the year the move came out, it tells us how "long time ago" each was:
      E1 = 64 years
      E2 = 57 years
      E3 = 57 years
      E4 = 10 years
      E5 = 10 years
      E6 = 12 years
      E7 = 14 years
      E8 = 16 years
      E9 = 17 years
      Maybe you can justify that 64 years was a "Long time ago", and that is a stretch. But 10 years being a "long time ago'. No.
      So the real answer is that these references are just fun little nods to real world facts, or at the least in world coincidences.

      @@thoseclipsyouvebeenlooking1289 Exactly. Thanks for doing the numbers on this. I knew that the theory made little sense.
      Even within Indy's own universe, I never quite knew how the Ark made it to the catacombs in Venice in 1938 but then back in possession of the US government a couple decades later. Not impossible buy seems like a whole other story that we never got, at least not on screen.

    The problem with the theory that ET exists in Star Wars is that at one point in ET, Elliott shows ET his Star Wars figures. So that means that somehow the Star Wars movies exist in the Star Wars universe and therefore it is our universe in. Star Wars is apparently non-fiction.
    Or, alternatively, we are taking a joke way too seriously
