The thing is you gotta take it slow. It's good to keep exploring games, hopping to another one to one another. Draining out your dopamine juice tryna find that one perfect fun game. You just gotta take a breather, enjoy the scenery, the love the developers put into their game, help the freshies who's having problems getting comfortable to roblox mechanics and stuff, and lastly take a break, enjoy life as it is. Have some life outside of gaming, maybe then you'll remember at the end of the day that you still have some love for this silly game that you used to play as a kid.

During the pandemic and Roblox’s metaverse “era”, I got rlly bored of the platform because of the massive creation of brain rot games, and felt like leaving the platform until…. Building games
Challenging Games
Building games are one way for me to express my love for warship history. In Build a Boat, I am pretty broke but I managed to make a brig. Sure it has about 80% Obsidian Hull, its pretty fun to look at and think that I spent alot of time making this masterpiece. In games like Plane Crazy, where stuff is almost unlimited but the plot space for your build isn't. So you really have to work around that small build space. Its great to see people come up with ideas to maximize the space while also keeping the detail, especially on ships. Ships have been known in the game for being susceptible to easily getting their armor shredded by simple guns due to game design. Big-Ship builders like me are always targeted by aircraft. But seeing the sheer amount of time to build that magnificent ship makes you wonder how did you even build this. I have made a couple of smaller builds and some big ones. Like (in order of build date, yes I remember this was more than a year old) HMS King George V (Accidentally deleted, never rebuilt), HMS Hood, HMS London, HMS Jervis, custom made Battleship "Reaper" (WIP), and HMS Ark Royal (WIP). All of these ships (those with real life counterparts) are not 1:1 Scale but close enough to fill the plot. It is a series of achievements that I am proud of.
Next is the Challenging Games. I love these games because it gives sense of challenge that you have seen very rarely in roblox games. Those games where the odds are stackes against you and you have to use everything to keep your team alive and respawn every wave until you either survive at a set amount of waves, die trying to reach the said waves to recieve the rewards, or survive for a mind blowing long time. Those games are the ones that made me keep playing roblox today. Games like Guts and Blackpowder (endless and hardcore) and DW (I don't want it to get banned for the 3rd time bro). Guts and Blackpowder Endless and Hardcore game modes are the most challenging. Hardcore is basically difficulty +++ and Endless is well, endless. These game modes are well known for its harsh difficulty especially in Endless (or Hardcore Endless if you are unhinged) as waves get progressively harder and harder. Reaching high wave level as well as helping others reach Old Guard badge always put a smile to my face. And the sense of happiness when you clutched that wave in order for the team to respawn and survive is something you would always remember. Now in DW, you have to survive for 10 waves and survive. You can either do it the normal way, or the canon aka the "True Ending" way. This might sound easy as the enemies are ai but they aren't just some random ai. They are scavengers who are armed and potentially secretly part of a cult that participates in making people turn into monsters. The stuff that you found are all useful. And not all areas are easily accessible each looting phase and the dangers that awaits you may be fatal. Deaths will debuff your whole team making them weaker, so avoid it as much as possible. And you have to work around these using anything at your disposal, your class ability, etc. What makes this game different is that most runs here fail at 8th wave. The game ramps up the difficulty dramatically after 5 and 6. There is a scavenging war appearing any phase from 6-9th wave. From what little rescources you have, you have to survive until the end of wave 10, or the Evacuation from true ending. This game is alot harder than it is on the surface. The guns actually deal significant damage, the melee deals significant damage, the scavs can parry you as you can parry them, and you deal the same significant damage to them. Its a life or death situation anytime in this game where death will weaken your team further. Here, teamwork is mandatory. And theres nothing compared to the feeling of surviving the 10 harsh nights that your team somehow survived. This takes skill, luck, and determination to be equally important. No luck will make Scav War and Night 10 alot harder, no skill will make your run fail early, and no determination to survive will make you a burden to the team to carry.
Anyways thats my essay right there. I typed this using my fingers from 10-11 pm in the evening.

My main point to being bored of roblox was HOW it was changing, and it still is. Like, seriously, they put voice chat, camera BLAH BLAH BLAH. me and my mate jarrad have been hosting gamenights with our friendgroup mostly for roblox and when we do, we always find different games to try out, and its always a blast. Sometimes the best games arent always the highest quality. For example, me and the boys had a lot of fun a couple night ago on a roblox games called "Alvin and the Taliban" and isnt well made at all, but still had HEAPS of fun. Keep up the great content man

I feel you. Growing up does mean change, and change does mean you will have to let go of some things.
Another way I like to keep Roblox fresh is by digging through my favourites tab (if anyone actually unironically uses it) and use it to find games that might be broken or abandoned, but potentially be fun. Then I force me and my friends to play it together. I already compiled a large list since I was a 2015 player... and yeah, I was a loser too. If you want my personal opinion on how to keep Roblox fresh with methods that aren't related to Roblox, just play a whole different game. For instance, you can try out demos of games or use the last few dollars to buy a game that is on sale for dirt cheap (based on a true story).
With all of this, I managed to find a few games that are worth playing. One of them that I personally liked was Guts & Blackpowder if you haven't tried that already...
I been playing Roblox all away through 2016/2024. And I find new games that are FUN to me so tyty brodie.

My problem is that the only games I liked to play (those hotel games) like bloxxed hotels are gone now, and if not gone, their communities are wayy less active. All the suriviving ones removed the strict grammar requirements and no one attends the trainings these days. My favorite thing was to buy high ranks, but there's no games that sell the super high SHR ranks anymore.
same! i knew so many great friends working at bakiez, grinding and serving people coffees, now it’s just boring somehow, i didn’t know how i had the patience to grind a cafe game for 8 hours a day 4 years ago, and less and less people are actually playing and enjoying these games (rip soro we will miss you), but going to trainings and working with my friends and competing was a core memory for me.

Nah the trainings still have about 50 people playing during most trainings in the most popular hotel/cafe games. The less popular ones have about 20-30 people in trainings.
I actually found 2 really good games from one Roblox group called “soda thief studios”. Those games were called “hunting season” and “parasite”. I played them and these games were actually really good, but in my opinion I think parasite is the better one though.
Hunting season is really not for me, I don't like parasite personally due to the unfairness, But I discovered a really good game on roblox called Inner Blue II It's an Analog Horror game moxed with FPS where you have to fight off an anomaly, It's still INDEV but I really hope you give it a try

This helped me, after losing sanity due to the pressure of school throwing at me, i rest using roblox snd it wws fun, playing with friends or strangers, cus being lonely is just more stress, this helped me gain fun and tips to take breaks and sleep and do tiring stuff and use games as a hobby or break. Thank you. I have been losing funnlately and having depression, this makes me rest long and be lazy but its worth to get some fun in life.

For those of you who like good action and strategy games and can't seem to find them, I'm here for you! I have a short list, starting with Entry Point. It's kind of a classic, and it's a game where you're a criminal and have to break into certain places and beat the level. There's a perk tree, and there's different skill sets and guns that you can buy. Next is Noobs in Combat. Honestly this game should be far more popular if you ask me, and it's kind of like an RTS game but also not really. It's a game where you control your own units, making them fire at certain tiles or enemies, and move. There's a main campaign in it, and there is also PvP as well as community maps and experimental maps! There is a tech tree that allows you to buy new units and evolve them as well, and it is multiplayer with most of the missions allowing at least two players! Now we have two games that are small but also still well known by now. These are more just to have fun and chill but they do have action in them. I'm talking about Untitled Tag Game. The legacy and recode are both good, and most have a preference on which on is better. Personally I prefer the legacy, but that's just me. It's a game where there are a bunch of different modes based around quite obviously.. tag! The game includes parkour and while there are purchasable items in game, they are only cosmetics and emotes! The cosmetics don't give the user any actual advantage, and the cosmetics and emotes can only be bought with coins in the game. Both games also have a lot of badges that can be fun to hunt for, or you'll get stressed out over the amount of time it takes to get the lamp one XD. The game is based entirely off of skill! Here is another action game that is based off of skill, and also off of classic Roblox! It's called Combat Initiation. It is a game where you progress through four maps, (at the time of me writing this comment because there are more in the making.) that progressively get harder. This is not a game where it saves where you left off, and instead each map is in a match. At the beginning of a match you and your comrades will select two starting weapons, and once everyone is ready the game starts. You start in crossroads, and you have to fight off noobs and characters that are just based off of classic Roblox. The weapons you choose are also classic weapons. You can upgrade your weapons every five waves from tix that you earn based off of how good you do. Each round in a match, or each map I should say, lasts ten waves with a boss on the final wave. Each player has three lives per round, and after each boss is defeated, the players will get four options of a new gear to pick for themselves. Gears and weapons are not the same. I won't spoil to much more. Besides, I'm not really good at explaining things.. Hope this helped some people! :D

I didn’t know how to make an account, so I just played as a guest. I remember playing this tycoon game where you fought other people with swords. yep 100% back in 2016 roblox's front page use to change like almost everyday, the reason why the front page is so bad right now is that i think some time around 2020 roblox switched from the front page being automatically changed based on popularity, to the admins manually adding games to the front page (because botting.) I have taken month long breaks from roblox and still was tired of it after coming back, so realizing this difference made a big difference.

I’ve been enjoying it since 2016, always finding new games, it’s all so fun!
1 thing i realized about the roblox homepage is that a game like evade (50k players) is not reccomended on the homepage because it has no monetization. When you go on popular its just top earning, when you go on obby its just top earning obbies, when you go on top rated its top rated cash grabs, when you go on simulars its top earning, when you go on fighting its top earning fighters, you get my point if it really was about the categories it wouldn't have only games that make money. (I am not a fan of evade its just an example)
I've been playing roblox for 8 years and I can tell you for a fact that this platform/game will never die anytime soon. I'm talking decades. Theres too much potential on roblox.
Making Roblox Games is enjoyable, sure it will be hard but when you finish the hardwork and see its good, its rewardable
Here are my top Roblox games that I recommend playing. All of these are unique in their ways, and very different from general Roblox games.
Best games to play with friends (if you're good at videogames): Anomalous Activities or A-888
Best skill requiring game: Decaying Winter (This game can be a bad experience for you if you hate understanding challenges and like to quit right away.)
Best PVP game: Call of Chivalry (The game is a very unique first person hack & slash game. I haven't seen any PVP games on Roblox like this one before.)
Best RPG's: Critical Adventure (It's dead so play Fantastic Frontier instead) and Arcane Oddesey.
All of these require basic intellect. You can't expect to have fun if you play pet simulator daily.

another thing about roblox that makes it so much more fun is that there is something for everyone. as a kid, i was interested in how storms work and natural disasters relating to storms and there are roblox games that are in that sort of genre. if you take just a little bit of time to look for a game that is in your interest, you can probably find something that has around 100 or more active players. most of the games that i play arent popular, but they are still fun despite that

In my opinion Flee the Facility is the most underrated game. Sure it has its flaws. Not updating often and it’s small servers. But it is very chaotic. I’ve made many friends and good memories on there but the reason why it’s dead now is because of its loss of players :( if you haven’t played it yet give it a try!
For me I’m grinding project delta its the goat on roblox and I agree i was scared of loosing loot in this game but i got out of my comfort zone and tried and here i am doing my best but playing with friends is the way to go even if u don’t love the game you will love it with friends bro like its not about how many i currently play with one only one and its the best time ever its 10 times better with only one person u can constantly play and talk with
I recommend beating "get a snack at 4 am" because its honestly very exiting and fun to find many ways the get new endings. But the true ending is very fun and unexpected and definitely worth it even though the beginning might not be as exiting.. so if your bored and want to try a game i would try this one.

i highly recommend making ROBLOX games or make yt videos or both but the both option is the hardest and most exhausting
Hello guys also my life was very awesome when I discovered roblox I was like to my siblings look I found roblox we played that game for years and never got bored until today none of my siblings love roblox exept for me but I was also bored because I would never be able to play with my siblings my brother doesn’t live with us and we never saw him for a year because he works at subway and I play roblox with my 5 year old sister it’s so miserable to not be able to play with your siblings like your brother he was amazing :) I miss those days
My favorite niche game is eclipsis its severely underrated due to bad developer decisions and lack of updates and new player unfriendly-ness but it's extremely fun once you learn how to play the game correctly
basically i started to play roleplay games (again) cause my younger cousin wanted someone to play with, i forgot how fun it is to pretend i’m a princess, or millionaire, or whatever. We played dress to impress and made shrek outfits (lost but whatever) this saturday has honestly been awesome cause of going out of my comfort zone of sandbox/drawing games
vibrant venture was so faded into obscurity and yet it was fun.
Bonus option: Mess around with Roblox Studio. It actually gives a lot of opportunities, not just with making games too. You can do roblox photography, make animations, models, characters, environments, set pieces, so much stuff is possible.

Jujustu shenanigans was able to rope me back into roblox as I never had this much fun in a while
I really recommend the game called Arcane Odyssey for people who like rpg games with action and stuff, where you have your own special power (for example in this game is magic) and then have a storyline which leads you through the game. Arcane Odyssey is a revamped version of the game called World of magic tho. I recommend checking that out as well.
My reccomendation is to play cube combination. Very fun game and it makes ur brain think.
